Ordinarily, I might suggest that calling the Tea Party “Nazis” is perfectly correct… But this makes me think. It is not exactly wrong to state that the Tea Party is ideology is fascism. Both the Tea Party and Nazi Party were to some extent grassroots (very limited in the case of the Nazis), but to some extent top-down (i.e. despite grassroots pretensions, the Tea Party is largely “astroturfed” as it is largely funded by and orchestrated by two extraordinarily wealthy Jews and given free publicity by Fox News). Both movements are/were based on nationalism/racism. Both claimed to fight socialism on one hand and modern “moral decadence” on the other. But there the similarities end. For starters, the TP has a larger “grassroots” to the limited extent that it is a popular movement, a base of useful idiots who are not directly joined to the elites. Whereas the Nazis were more of a small underground club, that grew slowly, becoming a “gang-like” organization until they were able to slip over the reigns of power in impoverished Germany. And in that way the Nazis were way more dangerous. The Tea Party is unable to go so far because they can raise hell for a good two-four years (as they have done), but will fizzle out. Nobody will buy their reactionary bullshit after a while.

Likewise, equating Sarah Palin to Adolf Hitler is extremely insulting… to Hitler! Considering that Adolf Hitler was a very insane, evil, twisted, depraved man, nobody can claim he was an idiot. That being said Hitler was very intelligent and cunning. He was able to seize power over a nation in crisis, successfully pull off a coup, rebuild a devastated economy, and then conquer most of Europe. Whereas Sarah Palin is just stupid.

In all seriousness, though any individual who calls Sarah Palin Hitler is going way too far. Calling her a ditz, an idiot housewife with pretensions of statesmanship, a dumb bimbo, a religious lunatic, or white trash from Alaska suffices. Indeed, the entire Palin clan are white trash from Alaska. Why would anyone need to slander Sarah Palin given how unflattering the truth about her is?

So long Tea Party monkeys, enjoy dancing for your puppet masters!
