Carville on Obama Economy: There Will Be Civil Unrest, It’s Gruesome

Middle Class Train Wreck Coming [Click image to enlarge]

CARVILLE: OBAMA’S DISMAL ECONOMY IS “HUMANITARIAN CRISIS OF THE FIRST MAGNITUDE”

The economy is brutal, according to JAMES CARVILLE, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton–and if the president doesn’t get a handle on it soon, there could be people in the streets.

Carville: There Will Be Civil Unrest — Over Economy

If the bleak job market doesn’t improve soon, both the country and President Barack Obama will suffer the consequences, says star Democratic strategist James Carville. The country could even end up with citizen uprisings, the man who played a key role in much of former President Bill Clinton’s political success told radio talker Don Imus in an interview simulcast on Fox Business.

Carville bluntly told Imus: “You know, look — this is a humanitarian — you know, you’re smart enough to see this . . . People, you know, if it continues, we’re going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it’s imminently possible.”

CARVILLE wasn’t shy about the shape of the American economy after 2009′s “Shovel Ready Jobs” and “Jobs Saved and Created;” 2010′s “Recovery Summer;” and whatever PR theme the Obama administration has cooked up for 2011.

Carville further told Newsmax magazine, “This is gruesome on people,” Carville said. “It’s a humanitarian crisis of the first magnitude. It’s a terrible thing happening to people’s lives.”

Carville is only the latest wonk to publicly warn of civil unrest due to the treasonous actions of the criminals running The D.C. (Den of Corruption) crime family.

Paul Ryan Record Mirrors That of the Most Liberal Senator

A recent appeal landed in the emailbox. It was an appeal to help defeat Sherrod Brown, “a Senator who must be defeated next year,” according to the letter.

It was signed, “Jim DeMint, United States Senator, Chairman, Senate Conservatives Fund.”

The reason this letter caught my eye and didn’t get immediately tossed–like so many others–was the following information.

“Sherrod Brown was recently ranked by National Journal as the “most liberal” member of the entire U.S. Senate. He voted:

FOR the $700 billion Wall Street bailout;
FOR the $787 billion stimulus bill;
FOR President Obama’s government takeover of healthcare;
FOR the Cash for Clunkers program;
FOR the auto bailout;
FOR union intimidation using “card check” elections;
AGAINST permanent repeal of the death tax; and
AGAINST the earmark moratorium.
AGAINST defunding Planned Parenthood

There is no bigger supporter in the U.S. Senate of big-government spending, bailouts, and debt than Sherrod Brown.

This brought a question immediately to mind: how much different is Sherrod Brown’s record than that of conservative darling, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)?

Paul Ryan’s Record (Does Paul Ryan’s Record Match His Rhetoric?)

Paul Ryan on Bailouts and Government Stimuli
-Voted YES on TARP (2008)
-Voted YES on Economic Stimulus HR 5140 (2008)
-Voted YES on $15B bailout for GM and Chrysler. (Dec 2008)
-Voted YES on $192B additional anti-recession stimulus spending. (Jul 2009)

So far, Paul Ryan’s record is an exact match with Sherrod Brown, “the most liberal member of the Senate.”
Maybe Ryan would do better on Entitlement Spending. After all, his many media boosters are trying to convince America that Ryan’s Roadmap is a way out of the entitlement spending mess.

Paul Ryan on Entitlement Programs
-Voted YES on limited prescription drug benefit for Medicare recipients. (Nov 2003)
-Voted YES on providing $70 million for Section 8 Housing vouchers. (Jun 2006)
-Voted YES on extending unemployment benefits from 39 weeks to 59 weeks. (Oct 2008)
-Voted YES on Head Start Act (2007)

In addition, Paul Ryan voted YES on George Bush’s 2001 vast expansion of the federal educational bureaucracy, No Child Left Behind.

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Wisconsin summed up their piece on Paul Ryan’s record with a reminder–and a bit of advice for Ryan.

According to Michelle Malkin in 2009, “[Paul Ryan] gave one of the most hysterical speeches in the rush to pass TARP last fall; voted for the auto bailout; and voted with the Barney Frank-Nancy Pelosi AIG bonus-bashing stampede. Milwaukee blogger Nick Schweitzer wrote: ‘He ought to be apologizing for his previous votes, not pretending he was being responsible the entire time, but I don’t see one bit of regret for what he did previously. And I’ll be damned if I’m going to let him get away with it’.”

Congressman Ryan: if you don’t like debt, stop voting for debt.

Getting back to that email, the question I guess we all ought to be asking ourselves is:

Will we be seeing Jim DeMint’s name on a piece of fundraising literature attempting to defeat that liberal member of the House, Paul Ryan?

UPDATE: Almost on cue, Ryan puff pieces appear almost daily in the Corporate Mainstream Media. The same day as this piece, one by ex-Fox News reporter, Major Garrett, showed up at National Journal with the hilarious headline: Paul Ryan’s Finest Hour?

Garrett thinks Ryan is positively Churhillesque.

One supposes that that’s right–as long as Garrett was referring to Ryan record and the following Churchill quote (about Churchill’s switch in political parties and then a final return to the Conservatives).

Anyone can rat, but it takes a certain ingenuity to rerat.”

EVEN Charles Krauthammer turns into an unblinking tool when the subject is Paul Ryan. Maybe Krauthammer is enamored of Ryan because of Ryan’s refreshing ability not to be tied down to his previous positions on the issue of debt?

It’s all a bit hilarious: the Corporate Media Stooges try their best to pretend that Paul Ryan has no voting record before 2011. It’s so brazen, it’s proof that “conservatives” were paying attention during the Clinton years.

Krauthammer argues for Paul Ryan in 2012, or GOP will ’sink’ on Medicare

Trump: Won’t Run for President, Business is More Important

Donald Trump has said he’s not running for president in 2012.

TRUMP NOT IN RACE, DECIDES BUSINESS IS HIS FIRST LOVE

According to Newsmax, Donald Trump has ended his pretend campaign for president.

Trump Is Out: ‘My Business Is My Greatest Passion’

Real estate mogul/reality TV star Donald Trump has decided not to run for the Republican presidential nomination next year. Although he believes he would win the nomination and the general election, his heart rests in his business endeavors, he said in a statement this afternoon announcing what he said was a tough decision.

According to the conservative newsweekly, Trump declared: “After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency.”

There was some speculation that Donald Trump only “entered” the Republican race for president as a publicity ploy to pump up the ratings on his NBC show, The Apprentice. Others claimed that his foray into politics was strictly a schtick to draw attention to the flimsy documentations surrounding Barack Obama.

Obama’s records, such as his long form birth certificate, medical records, college and university records, as well as other documents have been declared off-limits by President Obama.

Feds Check Japanese Cargo Ships at Texas Port For Radioactivity

According to Brownsville, Texas, KRGV.com, Japan cargo ships are undergoing ‘very detailed inspections’ for radioactivity by the Feds at the Port of Brownsville.

KRGV.com, Ship From Japan Underwent Detailed Inspection:

[Snip]

BROWNSVILLE – Another ship from Japan is docked at the Port of Brownsville on Tuesday afternoon. Like the one before her, she and her cargo went through a very detailed inspection.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS was told the ship wouldn’t have been able to enter the port if any radioactivity was detected. That’s why federal agencies were extra careful when the Sanko King arrived Monday.

The vessel went through heavy screening. It left Japan after the massive March earthquake and tsunami. Officials tell us the ship did not come within a 50-mile radius of the affected area, so it poses no threat.

This won’t be the last Japanese ship headed to our area.

U.S. Congress on Libya: Asleep or Compliantly Corrupt?

U.S. Congress on Libya: Asleep or Compliant?

THE CORPORATE MAINSTREAM MEDIA STOOGES ENABLE A CORRUPT CONGRESS

LIBYA

Dateline: Libya–and the free press in the land of the free and the home of the brave is at it again.

There is no end of conservative pundits, commentators, corporate media stooges and political hacks who willingly participate in the tightly-scripted reality show that is our Corporate Mainstream Media. 24/7 they spew out propaganda to a public brainwashed into believing that the vignettes served up by Fox News or MSNBC are anything other than various and sundry bits of disinformational flotsam and jetsam.

While Congress debates how many Libyan angels can dance on the head of a pin, our merry military continues to bomb innocent civilians in Libya–a country in which our beloved 44th president has already declared the USA has no national interest.

How long will the so-called “leaders” in the GOP-controlled House allow this situation to continue?

One guess: the Libyan Congressional kabuki will continue as long as our supposedly fiercely-independent media ignores the corrupt political theater that they–along with the political hacks–perpetuate.

Our only question is: How long will it continue?

Silvio Berlusconi, George Clooney: From One Elite To Another, Help Me!

George Clooney: What would George do?

SILVIO BERLUSCONI TURNS TO GEORGE CLOONEY AS AN OUT

World-famous tool, Silvio Berlusconi, has been reduced to throwing himself on the mercy of George Clooney.

Berlusconi, the Italian PM, is a little like Dick Cheney with just a touch a whimsy. Actually, “whimsy” is another way of Silvio saying “I’ve never met an underage girl I didn’t like.” Whenever he gets caught, Berlusconi, like all elites, labels the girls “hookers”–just like Lawrence Taylor!

Maybe Berlusconi should have used the LT defense: “I don’t card prostitutes, I just use them!”

Back to Berlusconi.

George Clooney called as witness in Berlusconi sex trial

Berlusconi is accused of having sex with Moroccan night-club dancer Karima el Mahroug, known by her stage name Ruby, when she was 17, below the legal age for prostitution in Italy.

In the trial, which begins on April 6, prosecutors accuse Berlusconi of having had sex with a “significant number” of prostitutes during parties held at his private villa near Milan.

He is also accused of abusing his office to have Ruby released from police custody where she was accused of theft, as part of a cover-up.

Ooops! That’s the back story!

“Clooney, a US actor and activist, said he could recall meeting the Italian leader only on one occasion, about aid to Africa. “It seems odd since I’ve only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur,” Clooney said in a statement from his Los Angeles-based spokesman.”

Seriously, does anyone expect George to snitch on one of his “Darfur” buddies?

When was the last time an elite testified against another elite? The only thing that keeps the elite in line is the invention of the camera. More than once, photos have proved to be inconvenient things.

So, it looks like Silvio can rely on George.

Unless there’s pictures out there that prove otherwise.
