A “Stand with Israel” rally will be held in Wheeling, West Virginia, on August 24, 2011 at the Prayer Hill Church of God. Located at 51-36th Street, the the church will be the site of both the rally and a Dinner/Bake Sale.

The dinner/bake sale will be from 4-6 PM with the rally getting underway at 6:30 PM.

Judy Ream, of Prayer Hill, was asked why it was important to support Israel.

“There are three reasons. Number one, they are God’s chosen people and those that bless Israel will be blessed. Let us return to being a nation of it’s word and now more than ever stand shoulder to shoulder with our closest ally – draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough.”

“Secondly, we have benefited much from Israel in many different ways and they should now feel the full measure of our deepest appreciation. They should never have to question where we stand.”

“Finally, in these dark and troubling times we need a light to shine the way. That Light is the Light of our faith in Jehovah God and Jesus Christ His Son; that Light is the Light of choosing to love our brother more than ourselves. This Light, when truly shown with all sincerity of heart, is unextinguishable. No matter how great the darkness may be and no matter from whom it flows out of we must stand together united with ONE voice and ONE heartbeat.”

Daryl Stapleton, Matheny, WV, of MinistrytoIsrael.com will be the featured speaker.

It’s July 11, 2011–or 7-11-11 for the numerically-minded–and, if you believe in such things, a perfect day for a cataclysm, false flag attack or other Illuminati nefariousness.

In other words: it’s a perfect day for a terror attack, a mad gunman going off in a public place or any event to stampede the rubes into the holding pens that’s been prepared for them.

On a side note, CNN notes (What we’re watching: Monday, July 11, 2011 – Deficit-dealing…punishing Pakistan…Palin politicking…hacking howling…Tiger talking?), that President Obama will be holding a press conference at 11 am.

11 am @ 7-11-11? That’s an Illuminati wet dream!

Actually, as I write this, it’s 11:11 am, so I’d better go check the newswires for updates.

Those who follow such things point out that the London tube bombings were on 7-7 of 2005 while the Twin Towers happened on 9-11 of 2001.

The next best day for mischief would seem to be 11-11-11. But what do I know?

I flunked out of Advanced Satanic Cults 101.

Will anything out of the ordinary happen today?

As a cache of embarrassing new photos appeared Sunday, Rep. Anthony Weiner finally began considering the possibility that he may have to resign.

A source close to the congressman told the Daily News that Weiner had been adamant about keeping his seat – even as the Democratic leadership urged him to quit amid daily new revelations of reckless sexting.

The question from this corner: “With all of the seemingly hundreds of Weiner pix coming to light, how did this guy have any time to do anything else?”

TMZpublished a new slew of squirm-inducing self-portraits, including several full-body shots taken in the House gym – some clothed, some not.

It’s about time for Weiner to go: the nation’s stockpile of Weiner jokes has been scraping bottom for weeks.

The question you have to ask yourself: could Weiner had pulled out at a more opportune time?

Anthony Weiner’s strategy of pleading, “I need counseling” might not help him.

Let’s say you’re a Democrat (Anthony Weiner) and that you’re in the midst of a Weiner-iffic scandal. What do you do? Weiner thinks the answer is to go the route of Lindsay Lohan and plead that he needs help; i.e., rehabilitation of some pseudo-psycho sort.

Here’s a hint: when even Nancy Pelosi tells you its time to go, it’s time to go.

DNC Chair and Pelosi Call for Weiner to Resign

Under fierce pressure from fellow Democrats to resign in a sexting scandal, Rep. Anthony Weiner announced Saturday he was entering professional treatment at an undisclosed location and requested a leave of absence from Congress.

An aide for the embattled New York lawmaker made the disclosure in Anthony Weiner, Twitter Photo Scandala statement shortly after several Democratic party leaders demanded he quit for exchanging messages and photos ranging from sexually suggestive to explicit with several women online.

Weiner has previously been impervious to shame, shunning and ridicule. He’s maintained that he can handle the blowback from Weinergate.

But it looks like the ridicule is becoming an unwelcome distraction–is there any other kind if you’re not trying to get the nation’s mind off of the corruption in D.C.–and top Democrats are telling Weiner: Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Will he listen?

NEWT GINGRICH TOP STAFF RESIGNS

Newt Gingrich’s top aides quit and Newsmax turned the story into a (hopefully intentional) punchline.

Gingrich’s Campaign Manager, Top Aides Resign

The first part of the sentence was the set-up: “Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich’s campaign manager, senior strategists and key aides in early delegate-selection states all resigned on Thursday…”

It was the second part of the opening sentence that had us in stitches.

“…a mass exodus that leaves his hopes of winning the Republican nomination in tatters.”

“His hopes of winning the Republican nomination in tatters?!?”

STOP IT! You’re killing me!

The one question on everyone’s minds after this news broke.

Will anyone notice?

The resignations were attributed to “differences about where the campaign was headed.”

If any staff member described Gingrich’s campaign chances as anything but “in the toilet,” they should have been fired for lying.
