The true method of this president showing that he really cares is not through his actions–it’s whether you’re important enough to pose for presidential propaganda.
Don’t believe it?
Look no further than how Obama chose to express his displeasure with Israeli prime minister, Bibi Netanyahu. The PM has visited Obama twice.
And the president has declined to have his picture taken with him both times.
WHY DOES OBAMA SLAM ISRAEL?
SITTING IN REV. WRIGHT’S CHURCH FOR 20 YEARS HAD CONSEQUENCES
President Obama’s treatment of Israeli PM Bibi Netanyahu has been noted throughout the blogosphere. From Commentary’s Peter Weiner:
It will embolden the enemies of Israel and America. Memo to the Obama administration: we share the same ones. As Norman Podhoretz pointedly once wrote, “the hatred of Israel is in large part a surrogate for anti-Americanism.”
What hasn’t been widely noted: is Natanyahu’s treatment just Obama’s “spiritual mentor” Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s “chickens coming home to roost?”
Obama sat in Wright’s church for 20 years and said he wasn’t aware of Wright’s continual preaching of hate for America and Israel.
The only ones who believed that were the DNC and the Mainstream Media.
WASHINGTON — Barack Obama reached out to skeptical Jewish political activists immediately after nailing down his presidential nomination in 2008, promising he would “never compromise” in his support for Israel. Now president, he risks alienating a core Democratic constituency by ratcheting up a public feud with Israel’s prime minister.
Obama’s demands that Israel cancel new housing construction in Palestinian areas of east Jerusalem may be backfiring. The hardball tactic clearly failed to advance prospects for restarting Middle East peace talks, and it may be undermining Obama’s standing among Jewish groups in the United States.
Yeah, right.
Although there is a small contingent of conservative Jews in America, most Jewish voters would pull the lever for Obama even if he set fire to their synagogue. Jewish-Americans are among the most loyal of the Democrat Party’s constituent interest groups.
Obama sits in Jew-hating preacher, Jeremiah Wright’s church for 20 years and doesn’t hear a thing? Yeah, that was a good one. Guess who was the butt of that joke?
It’s becoming increasingly clear it isn’t the Palestinians. Where this administration is concerned, it’s the Arabs in Israel who are the “chosen.”
Most Jews vote for the Democrats ahead of their own interests and Israel’s interests. Obama could nuke Tel Aviv and still carry 46% of New York City.
Apparently, there are some interest groups who 1-like being lied to; and, 2-can always find a reason to vote against their own self-interest.
Two recent events emphasized the importance of having a pocket video camera when protesting the federal government or its employees. One was a Tea Party protest; the other, a pro-life protest. Citizen videos helped refute media lies in both cases.
Remember when “dissent was the highest form of patriotism?”
That was when Leftist Democrats were protesting against a Republican President. Now that one of their own is in the White House, protest is not so patriotic.
Democrats have been looking for their American Reichstag Fire moment since the Tea Party protests started.
They have been aided and abetted by a corrupt Mainstream Press. So, for protection, conservatives who are considering raising their voices against the federal government and its employees would be wise to purchase an inexpensive pocket video camera.
Two incidents come to mind where the presence of citizens with video camera helped expose the rotten lies of the Left/Democrats.
The first is the despicable attempt to brand Tea Party protesters as “racists.” Several black congressmen walked through a party of Tea Party protesters on their way to Congress this past weekend. Several allegedly heard a racial slur being used. Despite many video cameras present–including those of a media anxious to find such things–no proof has been forthcoming. One congressman released a statement that he declined to press charges against an arrested protester.
Since no arrests, according to the DC police, were made, this makes whatever the Congressman says on the matter suspect.
The second lie about Tea Party protesters happened in St. Louis. Rep. Russ Carnahan, no stranger to bending the truth curve, alleged that protesters left a coffin in his yard.
This is a lie. Jim Hoft, of Gateway Pundit, was present and filed a comprehensive report of the event, as well as the media lies that were told.
Leftist Democrats are desperately looking for conservatives who will use illegal tactics that have long been employed by the Left.
There will be no riots, no rock throwing, no beat-downs from Conservatives and Libertarians.
But there will be dissent and documentation of that dissent. It’s time for all good citizens to buy a hand-held video camera. If you plan to protest and raise your voice, it’s a good idea to document it.
Otherwise, you risk being called a “racist”–and worse.
One suspects that video cameras might, in the end, prevent the Democrats who shredded the Constitution, from achieving their Americanized Reichstag Fire.
By the same logic that’s been employed against the Tea Party, it doesn’t even mean that any shots were fired. By Dem standard, Cantor’s office would have to have been yelled at, with the media claiming that Democrats had shot at Cantor’s office; that would be the proper parallel.

Like it or not, between 2001 and 2008, the “progressive” community redefined what is acceptable and not acceptable in political and public discourse about their elected officials. Slurs like “Nazi” and “fascist” and “I hate” were no longer the old street-theater derangement of the 1960s, but were elevated to high-society novels, films, political journalism, and vein-bulging outbursts of our elites. If one were to take the word “Bush” and replace it with “Obama” in the work of a Nicholson Baker, or director Gabriel Range, or Garrison Keillor or Jonathan Chait, or in the rhetoic of a Gore or Moore, we would be presently in a national crisis, witnessing summits on the epidemic of “hate speech.”
So here we are with the age-old problem that once one destroys decorum for the sake of short-term expediency, it is very hard to restore it in any credible fashion on grounds of principle when the proverbial shoe is on the other foot. A modest suggestion: If the liberal community wishes to be more credible in its concern about contemporary extremist anti-administration rhetoric, then they might try the following: “Please, let us avoid extremism and do not fall into the same trap as Baker, Chait, Keillor, Gore, Moore, or Range when they either expressed open hatred toward their president, or speculated about the assassination of their president, or compared their president to a fascist. We must disown such extremism, past and present.”
Progressives: Hypocrisy is a founding tenet of the movement.
Liberals have traditionally cornered the market on civil disobedience. Protests, anti-war rallies and refusal to comply have all been familiar staples of evening newscasts over the last 50 years.
With the passage of the liberty-gobbling intrusiveness that is ObamaCare, the Right might utilize the Left’s tactics and decide that Alinsky had it right: Personalize, demonize, resist.
Libertarians can’t be happy about the freedom-impinging law either.
The IRS is now in charge of enforcing compliance–regardless of whatever Anthony Weiner says–can there be anymore odious a symbol of the bill’s fascist over-reach?
Citizens who understand the bill’s far-reaching and yes, historic grabs for federal government power, are already calling for “Repeal!”
The American way of life depends, to a large degree, on self-regulation: Weiner stated that the IRS says that 82% of Americans self-regulate. What happens if Americans feel that the bill is illegitimate?
Expect that number to go down.
ObamaCare could become the 21st century equivalent to Prohibition: another attempt by the federal government to intrude upon the daily lives of Americans. The large numbers of American citizens who refused to obey Prohibition’s dictats ended another “Noble Experiment” after 13 years.
If politicians won’t obey the Constitution, should voters obey the laws they make?
That is a question that more and more regular citizens will be taking up as the tentacles of ObamaCare wrap themselves around John Q. Public in the coming months.
In the coming months, civil disobedience may become more than just a tool for the Left.
Defending against the charges of racism at protests and Tea Parties is a sucker’s game. It’s also straight out of Alinsky’s playbook.
If you don’t have an answer for the Tea Party’s protest against big spending and bankrupting the country, call them “racists.” Or, insist you heard someone shout a racial slur at you.
The only thing worse than that is trying to defend against the make-believe charges.
John Hawkins does a world of good: it’s hard to find things that he writes that are disagreeable. But defending against this weekend’s latest charges of racism is a losing battle.
If anyone at the Tea Party on Capitol Hill dropped the N-bomb, used any other kind of offensive slur like “f@ggot or wetback, or spit on anyone, I uncategorically condemn their behavior.
Moreover, let me add that I don’t think it’s impossible that such things could have happened. The world’s full of idiots and it’s entirely possible a few of them showed up on Capitol Hill on the day of the Tea Party.
That being said, we have no proof whatsoever that it happened. There’s no video. There’s no credible source that saw it happen.
Who doesn’t condemn racism? Who uses it as a tool against the Marxist brain trust that’s taken control of the White House and Congress? Hawkins is right: you can’t prove a negative.
That’s why the charge was hurled. Instead of another post about the lying scumbags who perpetrated an injustice against ordinary Americans by voting ObamaCare into existence, we’re talking whether anyone was mean to a hack politician.
That’s par for the course for the Democrat congressmen on health care: you can’t defend your actions, so you lie and call people racists and imagine you heard racial slurs.
Dems can’t win the argument, so they change the argument.
DEMOCRATS LIE, AMERICANS WILL DIE
–BY THEIR OWN ARGUMENT
Remember the fake Harvard study that Obama paid for to get the numbers he needed? The one that said that 45,000 Americans are dying every year because of a lack of health care reform?
The Democrat health care reform that is ObamaCare just condemned 180,000 Americans to death. Coverage doesn’t start until 2014.
That’s 4x45K= 180,000 dead.
But what’s a couple hundred thousand dead in the service of the greater good?
Democrats, by their own reckoning, have killed 180,000 Americans with their health care bill.
Democrats were repeating the “45,000 will die” lie right up until the very end of the debate. It would be completely wrong to let them forget about their own arguments now that they’ve stuffed this sausage down the throats of the voters.
