Rasmussen: Obama Approval at -21

LOWEST POINT YET FOR OBAMA

Bad news in the form of daily tracking poll numbers for the man expecting a bounce from his ‘unprecedented’ health care proposals.

From Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, Tuesday, December 22, 2009:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.
[...]
Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-six percent (56%) now disapprove.

Numbers the White House likely won’t think are ‘unprecedented’, but are. It’s Obama’s lowest approval rating yet. The White House is undoubtedly hoping wavering Congressmen and Senators don’t recalculate their mantra of “The public will thank us for this later.”

Now, that’s bounce you can believe in.
