Chicago Burglar Busted With “How To” Guide to Breaking in Vehicles

According to the Chicago Sun, Derrick Barringer was caught carrying a notebook on him when he was busted trying to break into a car. Inside the notebook, handwritten notes on how to “break into a car”. Notes such as:
“Keep looking around for five seconds. Run through gangways. Be carfule [sic]. If you hear squealing brakes it may be a cop coming, so look behind you.’’
Berringer’s arrest on Friday was the third time he’d been busted for burglarizing vehicles in the last weeks.
