Or, as one commenter called it, “The Blue Dog Unemployment Act of 2010″. The spin for the next 12 months as Blue Dogs confront angry constituents will be creative, but hopeless. For some Blue Dogs, their best bet of re-election will be to pray the Senate stifles this job- and freedom-killing abomination.

Will a single Republican vote for the bill be enough for Nancy Pelosi and Obama to claim “bipartisan” support? Our bet: they’ll try. If one vote in the Senate was enough for them to claim across-the-aisle support, don’t bet against them shamelessly trying the same tactic in the House.

Democrats have completed the first half of their ram-it-down-the-throats of a resisting 10.2% unemployed electorate. We’ll see if the Senate joins their House comrades in their suicide pact.
