Flint Michigan Teen Lawsuit Alleges Abortion Doctor Forced her to Have Abortion
The Grand Rapids Press published an article on a Flint Michigan “teen” who filed a lawsuit in June against a Flint abortion doctor and his assistant who worked at WomanCare of Flint, also known as Feminine Care Center. The lawsuit alleges the doctor and assistant held the girl down, covered her mouth when she tried to scream, then forced her to have an abortion after the girl had changed her mind.
The article didn’t state what age the girl was when the incident allegedly occurred, her name, or, the doctor’s name. Missing from the article, any mention of the girl’s parents. According to Michigan state law, the “teen”, whom we assume was underage at the time of the abortion, would have had to have consent from either one parent or guardian, or, from the court if the court ruled the girl was “mature”, and “well-informed”.
