Failed War on Drugs: Bad Chicago Drug Cops Busted
FAILED DRUG WAR PRODUCES MORE “ROGUE COPS”
From 4 Chicago ex-cops say they invaded homes, stole:
Four former members of an now-disbanded Chicago police unit admitted Friday to taking part in a brazen scheme in which they barged into homes and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from suspected drug dealers and others—once after withholding insulin from a diabetic man until he told them where to find the cash.
This is only a tiny portion of the corruption made possible by the Failed War on Drugs. It’s good that these cops were busted–but there’s countless others still working the streets.
More on what the press will refer to as “rogue cops”, but are merely cops corrupted by the distorted market prices of the Failed War on Drugs.
The four stood quietly as a prosecutor read a 17-page synopsis of what they admitted to, providing a glimpse into a rogue operation in which officers pulled over motorists without cause, grabbed their keys and stormed into their homes, falsified reports, pocketed huge sums of money and even shook each other down for money.
To these not-yet-apprehended bad cops, “Serve and Protect” refers to their bank accounts.

Seriously? Is their any education in the US? Four bad cops proves that a system doesn’t work….
Look up cause and effect. Basic logic makes this a NON-comentary on the “Failed War on Drugs” or anything else but 4 bad cops story. The sky is blue. Today the sky is gray (raining) therefore the sky was never blue, was always gray and hope should be abandoned in favor of permanent raincoats and no one should ever expect the sky to be blue again. Especially with global warming and idiot republicans who invented addictive drugs to degrade poor and minorities. So they would be distracted from their gas-guzzling carbon polluting evil ways exploiting the world to ruin by daring to

CheriVNB,
Seriously? Is their any education in the US?
Sure, Cheri. (It’s “there” by the way…)
Here’s a tip, Cheri: Google “prohibition”. When alcohol was outlawed by the 18th Amendment, LOTS of cops and officials were corrupted by the outrageous money that they could make by exploiting the system.
Then the 21st Amendment made alcohol legal again. When was the last time you saw a story about a cop that took money from Budweiser?
Likewise, see if you can find any stories about “bad cops” busting drug dealers in the 1930s or before. You can’t: because there were very few illegal drugs–including marijuana.
A little history reading makes your entire comment appear so ridiculous, I’m wondering if perhaps it’s not made up to discredit someone who really was in favor of the Drug War.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
