CNN and Protest: Tale of Two Tones

10-YR-OLD REFUSES TO PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE UNTIL GAYS CAN MARRY

This story comes from CNN–because you know they’re moving to the “middle”. At least, that was the party line when they paid Lou Dobbs a cool $8 mil to leave.

Video: 10-year-old refuses to pledge allegiance until gays can marry

Allahpundit: “Normally I’d suspect the parent of having put the kid up to this, but nope — not in this case. It’s actually a cute interview, but as an added incentive to watch, I’ll tell you now that the quote of the day is buried somewhere within. You’ll know it when you hear it.”

We’ll only say that the kid’s formed his worldview from somewhere and it wasn’t from reading Comparative World Civilizations textbooks. The father says that his boy’s action wasn’t a “typical act of juvenile delinquency”.

That’s probably true. It is, however, an “act of the typically uninformed”. No doubt, he’s already attracted the attention of the DNC. The boy seems to have learned the language and is well-spoken, but seems woefully uninformed as to the balancing of civil disobedience against 6000 years of civilization.

Does that seem too harsh an assessment for a 10-year-old? Maybe. But, if you’re going to talk the talk…

The most interesting thing we got from the interview was the attitude of the CNN anchor questioning the boy.

BONUS FUN VIDEO GAME: Allah says that within the 7 min video is the “Quote of the Day”–and that ‘you’ll know it when you hear it.’

ONE NOTE: Interesting the reverent tone that the CNN anchor exhibits toward the boy. Contrast that with the CNN reporter’s tone in the video below toward another act of protest: the Tea Partiers.

The tale of two tones. That’s what we took away from this.

Ha! Excellent point. It really is folly, the belief that news without an opinion is even possible. Camera angles, disposition of reporters and questions asked all creat a bias, one way or the other.

Man, they were worshipping that kid at CNN.
