Eight ‘Diamonds’ Shaped UFO, Fire in the Sky, Eyewitness Accounts from Irkutsk – Video

“Light yellow” balls (orbs?) that glowed like the sun and put on show, a UFO comprised of eight rhombuses–diamond shaped–with a polygon–eight-sided–middle with glowing bulbs, descriptions given by three eyewitnesses from the village of Lidinsk located in the remote Irkutsk region of Siberia. (Video posted below) The late winter-early March multiple UFO incidents with numerous eyewitnesses occurred in 2011, nine days before the massive 9.0 magnitude Japan earthquake and deadly tsunami.

While the world focused on the four heavily damaged nuclear reactors at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Number One, what may have been one of the most intriguing UFO stories of the decade, the Irkutsk UFOs, faded from the news.

Thanks to “Vania1917–link to Vania1917 blog–who translated Russian news reports of the Irkutsk UFO events then posted them on Youtube we have three eyewitnesses reports, two older women–Lyudmila Shushkov and Galina Emelbyanova–and a young man, Alex Baglikov.

Luydmila: “We were returning from our rehearsal at 9:30 on Friday…”

Galina: “No, it was a Tuesday.”

Luydmila: “I don’t remember the date.”

Galina: “Two women ahead of us shouted, “Look the UFO!” You see we were running fast and we ran and she says “My house is on fire!”.

Luydmila: “I thought my house was burning.”

Galina: “There was a big glow behind my house and it was going lower and lower.”

Reporter: “How far from you was this glow?”

Luydmila: “About two hundred, three hundred meters, seemed like right above the roof.”

Reporter: “Was it a ball or (unintelligible)?

Luydmila: “No, not a ball, just a light, you know like a fire is burning.”

Galina: “Without fire, without smoke, such fiery things you know like that. It was burning in the sky, in the sky above the roof. And then was (unintelligible) right below the roof.”

Reporter: “Where was it moving to?”

Galina: “Down, down. By the time I came home I did not see anything. Just a few bright stars flickering in the sky.”

Reporter: “Were there any planes flying in the sky at that time?”

Luydmila: “No, no planes only three satellites accompanied it. Two on the side and one behind.”

Galina: “I didn’t see that. How’s that on the sides?”

Luydmila: “Well, it was flying from that side to here and one satellite from one side and another from another, and third, one from behind.”

Luydmila began to describe the UFO using a stick to draw in the snow.

“These leaves were of a rhombus shape and it was all those rhombuses with lights on the side. Eight of the rhombuses I think.”

Galina: “What, you counted them?”

Luydmila: “Yes, 8 rhombuses. You were screaming scared that it would fall on the snow.”

Luydmila: “In the middle it was like a polygon or octogon also with balls (bulbs?) with a bright one right in the middle and balls (bulbs?) everywhere on the sides. It left as quietly as it came. It came from there sideways and left from there.”

Galina: “I think it came from there since my house was burning.”

Reporter: “The glow in the rhombuses were moving together?”

Luydmila: “Yes, together, like a flower moving in a pile. Like a flower accompanied by a satellite or something.”

Another witness, Alex Baglikov, a resident of Lidinsk Village described seeing ‘four shiny yellow balls’.

Reporter: “On the 2nd of March, right?”

Alex: “Yes, on the 2nd of March. Four small fiery balls of a shiny yellow light color were playing in front of each other. Right in that direction.”

Reporter: “How far from here?”

Alex: Well, pretty far, on that side.”

Reporter: “How did they move?”

Alex: “They hovered in the air.”

Reporter: “And how long?”

Alex: “For half an hour?”

Reporter: “Are you sure they hovered in the air for a half an hour. This is very important.”

Alex: “Well, less or more, I didn’t stand there to the end. I was watching for at least ten minutes. I saw four balls.”

Reporter: “Were they the same distance from each other?”

Alex: “They lined up in the shape of a cone, it was reflecting from them.”

Alex: “Two balls this way…”

Alex: “And two balls that way. And the glow was light yellow. Like a light from the sun to the floor.”

While there isn’t any photo or video evidence backing Alex, Luydmila and Galina’s claims we did find a September 28, 2011, “UFO” video from Russia. A video which shows glowing yellow “orbs”.
