Bin Laden Dead: Bin Laden Buried at Sea 12 Hrs After Raid
Still no photos, video of Bin Laden's body
Update: Bin Laden was purportedly buried in the North Arabian Sea, the ceremony at 1:10 a.m. EDT Monday, completed at 2 a.m. EDT. Why did a news sources publish the FBI’s ‘fake’ Bin Laden ‘Age Progression’ photo?
Twelve hours after the ‘daring’ Navy Seals raid that culminated in the report Bin Laden is dead and Obama preempting Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice to announce the news to Americans, the report the U.S. military buried Bin Laden’s body at sea-12 hours after the raid. The White House is ‘debating’ on whether to show ‘gruesome’ photos of Bin Laden’s dead body. Meanwhile, in another report from ABC News, the news the White House claims DNA proves Bin Laden is dead. The new buzz word for individuals questioning the report Bin Laden is dead, ‘Doubters’.
According to a new report from the AP, Bin Laden’s body has been buried at sea. The reason given by anonymous ‘sources’: Due to the U.S. wanting to give Osama Bin Laden a ‘traditional’ Islamic funeral, burying the body within 24 hrs, no country wanted to accept Bin Laden’s remains so we had to bury him at sea.
Pentagon officials said Monday that bin Laden’s body was be handled in accordance with Muslim traditions, which include strict rules on burial taking place within 24 hours after death.
Sources confirmed to CBS News national security correspondent David Martin that his body was released into the sea from a U.S. Navy vessel on Monday, likely into the Indian Ocean.
The buried at sea ‘excuse’ due to Islamic custom quickly unraveled with top Muslim clerics warning Bin Laden’s burial sea was a violation of Islamic tradition.
Here’s an idea: Why didn’t the United States ‘accept’ Bin Laden’s body?
Why the ‘compassionate’ act of kindness for the world’s most wanted man? The man who allegedly masterminded 911 and other assorted terrorist attacks? Not to worry, according to sources, less than 24 hours after the raid the report the DNA confirms 99.9% the dead man buried at sea was Osama Bin Laden.
Two Obama administration officials say DNA evidence has proven that Usama bin Laden is dead, with 99.9 percent confidence.
The officials did not immediately say where or how the testing was done, but the test explains why President Obama was confident to announce bin Laden’s death to the world Sunday night.
A senior U.S. official told Fox News that a Navy SEAL from Team Six, a top military counterterrorism unit, identified Bin Laden by his face. The official said the Al Qaeda leader did not appear to be ravaged or starved from his years in hiding, saying it appeared Bin Laden had been living well.
The official also said the SEALs used “facial recognition pulls” to confirm Bin Laden’s identity on site by comparing his height, ears, nose and mouth to known photos of him.
According to Reuters, the U.S. Special Forces’ mission was to kill, not capture Osama Bin Laden.
According to the official reports, Bin Laden ‘resisted’ and was shot in the head by a Navy Seal.
So far, the U.S. government hasn’t released any photos or video of Bin Laden’s body. The new report, Obama and the U.S. government are debating whether to release any photos of Bin Laden’s dead body.
The Obama administration has photographs of Osama bin Laden’s dead body and officials are debating what to do with them and whether they should be released to the public, officials tell ABC News.
“There’s no doubt it’s him,” says a US official who has seen the pictures and also reminds us that OBL was 6’4”.
The argument for releasing them: to ensure that the public knows and can appreciate that he’s dead. There is of course skepticism throughout the world that the US government claim that it killed bin Laden is true.
The argument against releasing the pictures: they’re gruesome. He has a massive head wound above his left eye where he took bullet, with brains and blood visible.
The American public can’t stomach the ‘gruesome’ photos of Bin Laden’s dead body?
Videos released of the ‘Bin Laden’ compound after the attack:
No ‘country’ would accept Bin Laden’s remains?
What about the United States? This guy was wanted, had a $25 million bounty on his head. Hundreds of billions spent in a ‘war’ in Afghanistan and the Pakistan CIA drone war. We entered Pakistan with U.S. Special Forces and killed Bin Laden and then curiously, the ‘care and concern’ to take care of Bin Laden’s ‘remains’ by burying the body at sea 12 hours after he was shot dead. No postmortems, no ‘second opinions’ by outside experts the body was Bin Laden’s who, it seems, was never indicted for 911.
The pertinent facts: Bin Laden was technically a suspect in the 911 attacks. In 2006, the astounding report the FBI ‘had no hard evidence’ to indict Osama Bin Laden for 911.
On June 5, 2006, the Muckraker Report contacted the FBI Headquarters, (202) 324-3000, to learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.”
Surprised by the ease in which this FBI spokesman made such an astonishing statement, I asked, “How this was possible?” Tomb continued, “Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11.” I asked, “How does that work?” Tomb continued, “The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice than decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, Bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. He has not been formally indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence connected Bin Laden to 9/11.”
Ten years after 911, none of the 911 suspects in U.S. custody have been tried in court.
WASHINGTON — Yielding to political opposition, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Monday that 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four alleged henchmen will be referred to military commissions for trial rather than to a civilian federal court in New York.
The families of those killed in the Sept. 11 attacks have waited almost a decade for justice, and “it must not be delayed any longer,” Holder told a news conference.
Holder had announced the earlier plan for trial in New York City in November 2009, but that foundered amid widespread opposition to a civilian court trial from Republicans and even some Democrats, particularly in New York. Congress passed legislation that prohibits bringing any detainees from the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to the United States.
