Dozens of Orange Colored ‘UFO’s Filmed over N. Carolina, Florida, Christmas Eve
Update: According to sources, the ‘orange lights’ were Chinese Lanterns.
The above photo, an image we grabbed from a new video posted at Youtube. An individual who filmed dozens–up to a hundred-bright orange objects–in North Carolina on Christmas Eve. A second video from Bradenton, Florida, of similar objects filmed on December 24th.
We’ve added other videos of bright orange objects, or UFO’s filmed in April, October, and November.

Description:
I am posting yet another event that just now happened. I just finished up posting a report on this site, and happened to look outside again, and all I can say is OMG! At least 100 spheres of yellow/orange or reddish/orange were moving across the sky in a line. Some of them were forming triangle shapes, but they looked like they were all following each other across the sky. I took almost 15 minutes of video of this event standing outside on the patio of my house! This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen! I cannot explain what this was. They were not planes, and there were no other aircraft in the area that might have been dropping flares. These things were completely silent, and they just kept coming. You will see from the video that I took,(this time with my digital camera)them coming from the tree line on the right, and slowly moving across the sky to the left, before just fading out. I have shown a plane flying in the sky to compare against and also the moon for reference to rule them out as being planes or celestial objects. These things were moving across the sky in a line, and kept coming for probably a total of 20 minutes… I don’t know what to say. I literally am speechless as to what I saw… I’ll just let the video do the rest of the talking…
Another ‘bright orange lights’ video from Cyprus posted on Youtube in April, 2010. We noted, in the video, another similarity to the new UFO video posted from N. Carolina, the moon which could be seen in both videos as a ‘reference’ to the lights.

Some of these look like they could be Chinese sky lanterns… The first time I saw them over Boston they spooked me a bit!
Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic Christmas

I saw what you saw in Ruislip, a few miles west outside of London U.K., on Christmas Day between 18:30–18:40 hours U.K.time. I only saw six of them and I felt that was a lot, what you saw was truly amazing.
Your desciption of them was exactcly what I saw. Don’t let anybody talk you, or anyone else, into believing they were ‘Chinese lanterns’.

No doubt these are Chinese Lanterns: As noted below on the advertisement,
Flight time is 15-20 minutes as the one holding the camera has estimated.
Chinese Sky Lanterns are a great way to celebrate any special occasion and are thought to bring good luck and prosperity; they are also belived to symbolise problems and worries drifting away. Each Lantern comes with full saftey instruction which must be read before use. Flight Time: 15-20 Min. Link Here for advertisement:

Those are definitely sky lanterns. I’ve flown many of them, they’re awesome. I get mine now at http://www.skylighter.com/sky-lanterns.asp. You usually do see UFO reports in the local paper the next day. The more you can get into the air at once the more awesome the experience!

Jess,
Laughing! They are awesome and looked like UFO’s. Can you fly a Chinese lantern in extremely cold weather? Just curious.

I and my family live in Pennsylvania, USA. On Christmas Day, 4th of July, whenever there is a family in-gathering, we launch Chinese sky lanterns, no matter how hot or how cold the weather. They always draw attention.

I saw them in NC on Christmas Eve. These were not lanterns. They lasted far longer than 15 minutes over Cornelius.
At the first of Dec. I was making a call on my cell and it started doing this.

In October (the same weekend everything was being seen over New York) we were traveling on 77South just south of Statesville NC and took pictures of what appears to be the same thing in daylight. It was hovering in the sky with a glistening firey look to it. Three military jets were circling around the object. (Mind you it was a Sunday eve) It sat there not moving just glistening and vanished. Completely vanished.

Nick,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment, the link to your recording (creepy), your observations about the Chinese lanterns, and your own personal experiences in sighting UFO’s. Over at the NICAP website, thousands of reports involving mysterious lights. While there are Chinese lanterns being mistaken as a UFO’s, there’s far too many sightings of ‘orange’ lights which indicate there’s more than Chinese Lanterns.
