DC Scuttlebutt: Obama a ‘Chainsmoking, Nervous Wreck’
Filthy Washington Gossip!
Who would believe such talk? The scuttlebutt is that President Obama’s a “chain-smoking, nervous wreck” –and that’s not all.
We know it’s gossip and hearsay, but this was passed onto us via email.
re: Obama is a nervous wreck, chain-smoking incessantly, fretful and broken.
Spoke with a friend of mine in DC who is in very well-connected politically on the Dem side and I asked him about the mood in DC.
He advised me Obama is a shell of a man, second guessing himself non-stop, reeking of cigarettes and consumed with the color of his rapidly-graying hair.
Our informer goes on to say that they realize it’s “second party hearsay” but that it is “consistent with other reports I’ve heard.”
We don’t know if it’s true.
But it is interesting.

[...] With unemployment continuing to rise, a double-dip recession a strong possibility, foreign relations plummeting, a never-ending war in Afghanistan, and the likelihood of an electoral massacre for his party this November, Obama is “a shell of a man,” according to blogger Death By 1000 Papercuts. If you want to know what failure looks like, look at a picture of Jimmy Carter in 1977 vs 1981. If you want to know what success looks like, look at a picture of Reagan in 1981 and 1989. Obama will resign 2011 when it is clear that the overwhelming Republican victory is a full and complete repudiation of his Presidency. President Biden will prove to be a complete bumbling fool, but will be saved because he will pick an even more bumbling fool to be his vice-president.

Obama is a complete and utter failure and let down. In fact, he polls as the most unpopular sitting President in history. He has fumbled handling the economy, war, and most importantly, the deficit. His solution is to spend, spend, spend right at a time we need to cut back. To all who were stupid enough to vote for him: How’s that Hope and Change working out for ya’?

That reminds me of a “dog saying”:

DOTUS,
I’ve met Craig Shoemaker. He had some success in the early 90s as a comic, but “borrowed” liberally from other lesser-known comics.
Thanks for the taking the time to leave a comment and spark a memory.

Poor baby! Does he feel like he was left out to die alone after surviving an abortion?

Obama is a shell of a man but in fairness it is very difficult to be president in todays world – one doesnt know what the job is like until he or she has it – it HAS aged obama – he is rapidly graying, and has a very very unhappy expression on his face. WHile I didnt vote for him and certainly WOULDNT vote for him again – I do think that a little kindness may be in order – 2012 is coming

I’m a Democrat and have been disappointed for a long time. I am not the only Democrat I know who says I didn’t leave the Democratic Party the Democratic Party left me. That being said I’m not a Republican either. I am a little left of center on some things, slightly conservative on others. Zealots on both sides disgust me. I pray to God that the GOP nominates someone who is smart and compassionate. We are in trouble and 2012 is the GOP’s year. I hope they nominate someone who will be the voice of all of the many facets of the American experience. I hope someday before I die there is a presidential election between two individuals that are so qualified that it is hard to decide who to vote for. Dream on, I guess…
