Danielle Staub Fired by Bravo? Danielle’s Strange Bravo Blog Post
Danielle's Bravo blog post reads like a long goodbye
“Unless she’s addicted to drugs, an alcoholic or homeless, then I don’t want her in my life.”
Danielle Staub’s search for her birth mother, Real Housewives of New Jersey episode
What Danielle said in tonight’s episode about her birth mother is related to what Danielle posted today on her Real Housewives of New Jersey Bravo blog. A post where Danielle wrote about the “rumors” without actually stating what the “rumor” was, Danielle Staub was fired by Bravo.
If you happened to catch Monday night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey episode, the episode where Caroline, Teresa, Jacqueline and their families had to climb up a steep winding road to Joe’s relative’s house in Italy, back home in Jersey, Danielle Staub visited a private detective in Danielle’s search for her birth mom.
Danielle told the private dick she wanted to find her birth mother, Danielle had been searching for her birth mother for the “past 47 years”. Danielle said she wasn’t looking for birth mother for her mother’s sake but for Danielle. To the Bravo camera Danielle stated she wanted to find her mother unless… her mother happened to be an “alcoholic, a drug addict, or homeless“, that Danielle “didn’t want that” in her life. So sorry, Danielle Staub birth mom, if you’re a doper, a drinker, or homeless, your ex-stripper, convicted felon reality tv star daughter doesn’t “need you” in her life.
Antonyms for compassion: cruelty, harshness, hatred, indifference, meanness, and merciless.
I’ve been following the Danielle Staub fired by Bravo rumor. Actually it’s more than just a rumor, it’s an article published by Life & Style who claims Bravo insiders say Bravo informed Danielle she wouldn’t be returning next season. Danielle was in “complete shock” when she heard the news. Danielle responded on her Twitter page around 5 PM EST. Us Weekly reported Danielle Staub “speaks out on firing rumor”. Not exactly. Us Weekly published the same statement Danielle posted on her Twitter page.
In the past seven hours after Danielle posted her Twitter statement, Danielle has followed up with one tweet which wasn’t related to the rumor Bravo fired Danielle. After Bravo aired tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Danielle had posted on her official Bravo Real Housewives of New Jersey blog.
Rumors
Danielle talks about her recent projects and responds to rumors about future endeavors
Unless Danielle has begun referring to herself in third person, a Bravo minion or whoever has access to Danielle’s Bravo blog wrote the above sentence.
Danielle wrote the post. Danielle’s first sentence:
Not much to say about tonight’s episode, but I have a lot to say about myself, my daughters, and all my future endeavors!
Reading Danielle’s post, Danielle had absolutely nothing to say about tonight’s episode. Nothing about Danielle’s eager to search to find her birth mother.
Danielle’s post was chocked full of “thank you’s”. “Special thanks” to Danielle’s fans. Thanks to her kids. Thanks to her friends including “hot lesbian singer” Lori Michaels. No thanks or mention of Danielle’s constant pal, Danny Provenzano. Thanks to a hairdresser Eric Alt:
Thank you to Eric Alt, from Eric Alt salon for donating his time, and products to an event I attended to stop domestic violence against women, a cause which is close to my heart and near to my heart.
Do I have to write the blatantly obvious here. What if, Danielle, your birth mother was homeless because of domestic abuse? IT DOES HAPPEN.
Danielle asked her fans to read her book, The Awful Naked Truth. Danielle thanked her publisher Simon and Schuster. Danielle mentioned her t-shirt line and Danielle’s online store. At the end of Danielle’s post:
Due to recent rumors posted today, I’d like to say that I’m not even thinking about Season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don’t worry next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.
Reasons why the rumor could be true, a timeline of events this summer beginning with:
July 12: Bravo aired the Posche Spite episode, the episode where Danielle has a confrontation with Jacqueline, Teresa, and Ashley Holmes at the Posche Fashion Show.
July 13: Danielle’s attorney tells a gossip site, Hollywood Life, Danielle intends to file restraining orders, criminal charges of assault, and a defamation suit against her cast members using Bravo footage.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” says Danielle’s defense attorney Paul Giblin. “We are going to use this footage and prepare a case against these women. We are seeking assault and battery charges, defamation of character and punitive damages as well.”
But that’s not all: Paul is going to do everything he can to make sure that Danielle remains safe from the other housewives.
“We will get restraining orders by the judge against Teresa, Ashley and all others involved. We will subpoena this women to make sure they come to court. We are going to ask to impose sanctions against these women, whatever the law allows.”
On July 14th, I wrote about what seemed to me to be an incredibly dumb PR stunt. Danielle had already had her day in court in relation to the assault and harassment charges. Danielle asked the judge to drop her harassment charges against Teresa and Jacqueline in early December. Ashley Holmes was found guilty of simple assault in January. Danielle could seek punitive damages against Ashley Holmes for the simple assault. She could sue for defamation. Danielle’s evidence: Bravo footage, meaning Danielle would involve Bravo, Danielle’s employer, in a civil lawsuit involving cast members from one of Bravo’s reality shows.
On July 16, a civil suit was filed. This time against Danielle by a former cast member, Steve zalewski. Part of Steve’s evidence, Bravo footage from the second season episode where Danielle claimed Steve filmed sex tapes of Danielle without her knowledge.
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Staub’s ex, Stephen Zalewski, is suing the reality TV star for defamation of character and harassment.
In the suit being filed Thursday in Morris County Superior Court in New Jersey, Zalewski claims Staub’s comments on the show regarding the sex tape are outright false.
The suit says that in the episode titled “Play at Your Own Risk”, Staub claims that Zalewski had filmed the sex tape without her knowledge or consent.
Zwaleski’s attorney, Nase Naumoski, tells us exclusively that Staub absolutely knew about the sex tape – and had even filmed parts of it herself!
On July 13, Danielle’s attorney claimed he was going to seek restraining orders against Danielle’s Bravo cast members. Restraining orders which would have caused a HUGE PROBLEM for Bravo: How to film the upcoming Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion episode. After July 13, we never learned whether Danielle’s attorney asked for the restraining orders. We’ve pretty sure if he had, someone would have reported it to the press.
On August 7, Famecrawler reported Bravo had taped the RHONJ reunion episode “sometime last week”.
On August 10, at Danielle’s 48th birthday party bash held at Scores, Manhattan’s ‘icon’ stripper club, Danielle announced she had a “reality spin-off show in the works”:
“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub revealed during her strip-club birthday bash last night that she is in the works of creating her own spin-off reality show.
“It will definitely be a lot more of her (gal pal Lori Michaels) and I and definitely my kids,” Staub told Niteside before her 48th birthday bash at high-end strip club Scores in Manhattan. “There will be a lot of questions that will be answered.”

Realistically, the only “spin-off” Danielle would be “in the works of creating” would be with Bravo with Danielle’s reality tv resume, Real Housewives of New Jersey. If the rumor is true, Bravo did fire Danielle, a cynical person might wonder if Bravo dangled a reality tv spin-off in front of Danielle to lure her into taping the reunion episode. Once the episode was taped and Andy Cohen, executive producer of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Senior Vice President in Charge of Programming and Production, out of the country, en route to Tahiti, Bravo giving the Danielle the Bravo pink slip.
If the rumor isn’t true, then you have to wonder:
-Who the Bravo insider was who gave Life & Style the wrong info about Danielle being fired by Bravo?
-Why did Danielle post on her Bravo blog what amounted to a goodbye speech, thanking her fans, her friends, and her kids?
-Why didn’t Danielle post the rumors aren’t true?
Here’s what we do know:
It’s the middle of August. Last season the Bravo production company began filming the second season before Teresa had baby Audriana on September 15, 2009. While Bravo minion rep’s reported to US Weekly they’re focused on the second season and haven’t announced anything for the third season, there’s no doubt Bravo production minions are formulating plans for the third season. A season which might begin taping in a few weeks.
Real Housewives unceremoniously dumped by Bravo include Real Housewives of Orange County’s Quinn Fry and Lynne Curtin.
On March 12, 2008, Quinn Fry posted on MySpace:
MySpace Bulletin
Date: Mar 12, 2008 7:31 AM
Subject: Real Housewives Season 4 News!
Body: Hello everyone I have heard some SAD news, but first I wanted to thank everyone for watching the show and being my MySpace friend. The sad news is that I am probably NOT going to be back for Season 4, and yes I feel like I got voted off the island! No fun I tell ya!![]()
Bravo is making a few cast changes and who knows – I must have not been the right fit on the show or too old or whatever? People have been asking me… what they could do to keep me on and I’m not too sure. I suppose if you really want to see return, you could make some noise and email Bravo to tell them!
I had so many more things that I wanted to share with everyone this summer and I really felt that you are just getting to know me. Plus, I’ve lost weight as many of you have seen and I could help others I think. But all in all, it was a blast while it lasted and I’ll always be a Season 3 Housewife.
Thank you for the sweet words and emails sent.
XOXOXO,
Bravo never released an announcement Quinn had been booted off RHOOC. In the next season, none of the housewives mentioned Quinn’s departure.
On August 6, Lynne Curtin posted on Facebook she was shocked to discover she wasn’t asked to return to RHOOC:
“I am broken hearted! I was so let down the way this came about! We were the last to know! I guess Bravo has to do what they have to do! I thought we had a great relationship! I guess I was wrong! Its funny how fast offers came to us from other places! Thats how we found out we were not returning! Funny how life can be!”
Kind a sounds like Lynne found out she wasn’t returning to RHOOC from someone other than Bravo.
Bravo didn’t issue a press release about Lynne’s departure. Nor has Bravo mentioned they added new cast member Peggy Tanous and her husband Micah Tanous, long time pals of Alexis and Jim Bellino. The news of the newest addition to the RHOOC cast was reported by Radar. Filming for the next season of RHOOC is already underway.

I am so glad to see Danielle go. Everytime her segment would come on I would want to change the channel. I fell so sorry for her daughters. Too bad they won’t have a normal childhood. They seem to adapt to whatever their mother is involved in. Their father must help balance them out. Someone has misled her about her beauty. I personally don’t see it. Kim G. was right – I don’t think she has any friends that she doesn’t “pay for”. I’m sure Danny was on her payroll. Good Riddens Danielle!

People Who Should Be Banned From Television…
You know that something unthinkable has happened when Bravo decides to fire the very person that brings the most drama to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. But that is exactly what happened this week, when it was announced that Danielle Staub would not…
