The Bachelorette Ali: Roberto Martinez Moved to LA?
Did Roberto propose to Ali or is Roberto ABC's next Bachelor?
The Bachelorette: Ali guessing game continues with even more intrigue related to sexy State Farm insurance salesman Roberto Martinez.
Over at Gina Carbone’s blog, Gina posted: ‘Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Roberto Martinez registers in California as insurance agent! Is he moving to be with Ali Fedotowsky?!.

Omigod.
The Fans of Reality TV sleuths on the Roberto Spoilers page just dug up some major dish. I know I’m taken with quoting them all the time, but this is why.
As you probably know, Roberto Martinez is an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance in South Carolina. Or, he was…
**
A new poster called Kat4Carolina just posted this today:
“1st post, but longtime lurker. Don’t know if this has been posted yet….tried looking through all of the latest posts, but there are A LOT! Berto’s company directory information at SF has changed to an office in Cali. Not sure when it happened, but he is no longer showing in the Southern Zone.”
And,
Kat4Carolina, who turns out to be a State Farm employee, came back into the discussion with this:
“Yes, I work at SF. Have a brother and many friends who are agents in SC so I know the agency intern process well…along with the state of SC.
I looked up his name a couple of weeks ago and it showed GA/SC (Southern Zone that I referred to earlier).
Today is shows the California Zone with Irvine listed as the home office. But like many before me have said, that is somewhat of a “holding tank” until he gets his office assignment. Much like Duluth, GA was for him previously.
Emailed RS and he had not heard a word. Am awaiting a reply back.”

Obviously it proves nothing yet, but it’s a hint that Ali Fedotowsky does pick Roberto and he is moving to California to be close to her.
Wishful thinking? Desperation? Could very well be. But it could also be that Reality Steve got ‘Fleissed’ after all!
A quick check of the state of California’s Department of Insurance website verified a Roberto Martinez Jr. registered on July 16th as a State Farm “Non-Res Insurance Provider” with the State Farm office address listed in Irvine, CA, a distance of 50 miles to the Disney/ABC Studios in sunny Burbank, CA..
The term “Non-Res” seems to indicate someone who has yet to meet the qualifications of being a legal resident of California. California State law requires new residents live in CA a year before being considered a legal resident.
If the Roberto Martinez Jr. who registered as a non-resident State Farm agent using the Irvine State Farm address is Roberto from ABC’s The Bachelorette: Ali, Roberto getting a CA insurance license seems to draw more questions than the conclusion Ali gave Roberto the final rose with Roberto proposing to Ali. Questions such as:
If Ali gave the final rose to Roberto and Roberto proposed, why would Roberto move to an area located 50 miles from the ABC Studios in Burbank? Ali loves San Francisco, Roberto, a Florida native, lives, or used to live in North Carolina. You’d think if there was a proposal Roberto and Ali would be living in either San Francisco or Ali would move to North Carolina or Florida. But then again, this is reality tv land where there is the possibility Ali gave Roberto the final rose, Roberto proposed, with Ali and Roberto relocating to an area less than 50 miles from the ABC Studios in Burbank.
There’s also the other scenario being tossed around online of Ali giving Roberto the final rose, Roberto proposing and the Ali-Roberto relationship “dissolving” before Ali and Roberto walk down the aisle.
Another scenario: ABC producers picked Roberto as the next Bachelor which is why Roberto–if it is Roberto–recently registered with the state of California for an insurance license. A very practical move on Roberto’s part. If Roberto is the new Bachelor, he can sell insurance to cast members and employees of ABC while wooing the hearts of 25 single women hand-picked by ABC on the next installment of The Bachelor.
As for whether Ali gives Roberto the final rose with Roberto proposing to Ali, Spoiler King Reality Steve says, based on numerous sources, he’s pretty darn sure Ali “stays single” which could be another indicator ABC may have picked Roberto as their next Bachelor.
Update #2 on the finale you can find in the 6/21 post: “…I have a new update. Now I have absolute 100% confirmation that Ali is single. She chose no one. Don’t know who came out of the limo first, don’t know if either of the guys proposed, don’t know what she said to them. All I know is Ali did not choose either Roberto or Chris and is single. I knew my sources would come through for me. So whatever you hear over the next six weeks in regards to rumors she might be with one of them, don’t listen to it. Can’t make it any clearer. Ali is single. And no, just because Jake is single now does not mean he and Ali are gonna end up together. That’ll happen around never. Already people are speculating he’ll try and get her back or something ridiculous. I’m telling you, it’s not gonna happen so don’t bother hoping it will…”
Looking for clues I did some ABC Bachelor and Bachelorette math, looking at when ABC announced the next Bachelorette and Bachelor. In Ali’s case, ABC announced Ali was the next Bachelorette during the Bachelor: Jake, After the Final Rose episode. Ali purportedly began filming The Bachelorette ten days after the episode aired. ABC is taping the Bachelorette: Ali, After the Final Rose episode this weekend and will air the Final Rose episode, August 2nd.
If ABC intends to announce the next Bachelor when they air the Bachelorette: Ali, After the Rose episode, an episode which usually airs immediately after the final rose episode, there could be the possibility taping of the next Bachelor could begin in the near future. The guy chosen by ABC might chose to “move” near the ABC Studios, a temporary “non-resident” move for the duration of the taping of the Bachelor. A guy who might register with the state of California to sell insurance in case his career in showbizz fizzled like Jake Pavelka’s.
While researching this post I discovered an unintentionally funny website TheKnot.com where couples post their upcoming nuptials. The couple who posted their upcoming nuptials, Ali’s sister Raya and her fiance Evan. According to the website, it’s “1104 days” until Raya and Evan get married, “JULY 31, 2013″ with Ali (Alexandra) listed as Raya’s maid of honor.
When I read the date of the wedding and the 1104 days to go until the wedding with their engagement listed as November 7, 2008, I thought, wow!, planning your wedding five years in advance, amazing! No wonder Ali seems stressed about falling in love and finding the right guy! After clicking on the Macy’s link where guests could register for a bridal gift, the Macy’s site listed Raya and Evan’s wedding occurring last year on July 31, 2009.

sorry to disappoint you but all Non-Res term in the insurance world means is that you’re seeking a non resident insurance producer license- go to NIPR website and you will see. He can be licensed in states other than SC which is his resident producer licensed state. So that way if he were in CA he can write business as an agent. now he could be moving there –on the internal side SF employee would know– or they had him do that since he may be the next bachelor and living in CA- they don’t want him soliciting business using SF name w/o this add’l license.

Previews are being shown of the finale rose. They have Roberto and Chris pacing in there rooms saying I don’t know if I can go through with this. Then you see Chris and Ali together crying and him saying I am so sorry. So it sounds like it’s not Ali that doesn’t choose them, it’s them rejecting her. They say the results of the finale has never happened in the shows history. We will see in 2 days the results.

You need to use spell check and get the name of Vienna correct. If you’re old enough to post a negative comment, you’re old enough to spell correctly. You must be incredibly gorgeous to comment on someone else being physically ugly. Send a photo so we can comment on you.

Ali is my favorite bachelorette, so beautiful and thoughtful of other people’s feelings, and her fiance, Roberto, is such a sweet, thoughtful and totally gorgeous guy in every way. What a lucky twosome!! Can you imagine what beautiful children they will have?
I believe this is one couple who will marry and stay married. So refreshing to see such sincere young people who have some traditional values left. San Diego is lucky to have them. Yes, I am a senior, but who has been married almost 47 years.
