The Bachelorette: Ali: Reality Steve Claims ABC Producers Hired Private Investigators
Reality Steve: Frank won't appear on After The Final Rose Episode
Did you catch the 20/20 special that aired after the “Men Tell All” last night? Basically, it was same show that aired the week after Jake’s season ended, with one Jake/Vienna segment thrown in, a few clips of Ali and her wardrobe, and some added “Bachelor Pad” stuff as well. But in case you missed it the first time around, there was Fleiss again in all his glory telling everyone they basically make sure to cast “villains” on the show, don’t care about a proposal at the end, and make sure the viewers “love the bachelor and hate the women. Just not all the women.” Nice. Even hearing him say that again for a second time, I challenge anyone who watched it to say that this show is legitimate and you actually think these people care about producing a love story and wouldn’t slit their cat’s throat for ratings. You’re nuts if you don’t think they would. The creator of the freakin’ show is basically telling you none of it is real.
The above blockquote is one of the reasons why I enjoy reading Reality Steve. It’s been fun watching Ali search for true love but even more fun: The real reality behind ABC’s reality show which includes ABC Bachelor/Bachelorette spoiler nemesis Reality Steve. The newest intrigue of ABC producers purportedly hiring private investigators to ferret out Reality Steve’s ABC moles. Reality Steve being a tad bit unreliable in regards to the taping of the After the Final Rose episode. Reality Steve maintaining Frank won’t appear on the After The Final Rose episode, that Chris Harrison is playing mind games with the viewers.
In my July 19th post I wondered whether the ABC producers of the Bachelorette were playing cat and mouse with Reality Steve? Internet rumors ABC producers were setting up RS, filming two separate endings of the Final Rose episode in an attempt to ruin RS’s reputation as the Bachelor/Bachelorette spoiler king.
For the past year and half RS has been thumbing his nose at ABC, posting spoilers and allegations. RS’ spoilers turned out to be true. RS’s allegations included ABC producer Mike Fleiss engaged in some Bachelor monkey business involving The Bachelor: Jason Mesnick, Jason’s “flipflop”, planned by ABC . An infuriated Chris Harrison, in early March of 2009, lashing out at Us Weekly, demanding an apology and retraction while alluding to blogger “yahoo” Reality Steve.
On July 26, I posted, according to Reality Steve, ABC was taping the After the Final Rose episode this past weekend. According to Reality Steve’s latest info, RS is waffling on whether ABC taped the episode.
On July 22nd, Reality Steve seemed pretty positive ABC was about to tape the ATFR episode:
As for the “After the Final Rose” taping tomorrow night, I can’t guarantee I’ll have anything to report on. I might, I might not. It’s going to be a last minute deal at this point. I won’t know until tomorrow. So if you see something up tomorrow night, then you’ll know my sources came through. If not, then they didn’t. I’d say it’s 50/50 at this point. I can’t complain. They’ve given me everything else this season, so if they’re unable to tomorrow night, I think I’ll live.
Five days later on July 27th, Reality Steve posted:
-Lets make something clear right off the bat. Despite what Chris Harrison said twice during the show last night, and despite what he wrote in his blog today, Frank is not and will not be a part of the “After the Final Rose” show. The reason I say it that way is because, well, I don’t even know if it taped this past weekend. It was supposed to, but if it did, I haven’t heard any info as of now.
Perhaps RS’s sources have been “ferreted” out by ABC private dicks.
blockquote>Outside of the people in question they talk about, they said Mike Fleiss and Chris Harrison were the only other people they used for commentary. Some people actually asked me if I filmed with Fleiss and Harrison. Huh? Are you crazy? Uhhhh, no. They hate me. Don’t believe me? Word is ABC has hired a private investigator to interview past contestants asking who is leaking information to me. That might be the biggest waste of time on their part if you ask me, but hey, have at it. Do what you gotta do. Oh yes, it’s true. They are none too happy about leaks getting out. So for those who think I’m on ABC’s payroll, or I work for Fleiss, or Fleiss purposely gives me spoilers – think again. They wouldn’t be going to these extremes right now if that were the case. They are grilling past contestants AND employees of the show trying to find out where I get my info. Just because I talk to a few former contestants doesn’t mean they give me information. Everyone knows I’m friends with Jeremy. I don’t hide that. What the hell would he know about what happened on “Bachelor Pad”? Plus, I’ve been spoiling for a year and a half. Why all the sudden start interviewing people now? What set them off? I don’t get it. Oh well. Not my concern.
According to RS, he’s got inside and outside sources, including spies in Chicago:
He’s with Nicole. Does Ali want need to hear that again? The only reason Chris is continuing to promote it is because they want you to think Frank will be there. Not happening. If it happened this weekend, he definitely wasn’t part of it since people were emailing me all weekend saying they saw him in Chicago. And if they’re still looking to tape it later this week, it sounds like the guy has checked out and wants nothing to do with them. If Frank didn’t show up this past weekend, he certainly won’t be showing up this week either.
Here’s what Chris Harrison said in a recent TV Guide interview:
TVGuide.com: Where was Frank?
Harrison: He was purposely excluded last night so he could be on “After the Final Rose” next week. Here’s the dilemma I have with Frank. On the face of the issue, he’s selfish. He did the absolute best thing for Frank. It doesn’t mean it was a bad thing or the worst thing to do, but you can’t say it wasn’t selfish. From what I’ve heard he and Nicole are together. Can you be mad at the guy if he ends up falling in love with Nicole and they stay together and are married? Then obviously it was the right thing to do. I think it was the way in which it happened and the time when it happened, waiting so long.
ABC shame on Frank for doing the “absolute best thing for Frank”! Double shame on Chris Harrison and ABC! If Frank hadn’t left Ali in Tahiti, ABC Bachelorette producers wouldn’t be able to squeeze higher ratings out of weepy dishrag Frank.
Reality Steve says Frank’s appearing on ATFR is “Not happening”, Chris Harrison is playing mind games with the viewers.
In March of 2009, Reality TV World reported Chris Harrison, during a radio interview, was furious with Us Weekly and Reality Steve:
“The level of just [a] lack of journalism, it was really amazing,” Harrison told Seacrest about the report, which appears in Us Weekly’s March 9 issue. “I was pretty upset and I fully expect a retraction and apology from [Us Weekly]… it was that bad.”
“I can completely understand if people are unbelievably ticked off about the ending and what happened, but the fact is that report that [Us Weekly] came out with is so unbelievably irresponsible and the lack of journalistic integrity is astounding to me,” Harrison said pointedly.
Chris alluded to blogger “yahoo” Reality Steve:
“I get it — people go on their blogs and these yahoos make up stuff online. I go with that, it doesn’t matter. But the fact that [Us Weekly] picked this up as fact and printed it was unbelievably vindictive, irresponsible and beyond anything I’ve seen in that magazine. I was really astounded [about] the lies and fabrication and the stuff that they went with as fact.”
“Carbone” is Reality Steve:
The source also repeats Carbone’s claim that the show’s producers presented Mesnick with the idea of initially proposing to one woman at the Final Rose Ceremony and then breaking up with her and reuniting with the other rejected suitor.
“It was the intention of to have Jason choose one girl and then flip-flop to the runner-up,” the source told Us.
Chris Harrison:
“It’s unfortunate Ryan that the ending was leaked, so it almost seems that it added validity to the story, because the ending that they got was correct — but everything else in there was just unbelievably made up and just all out lies,” Harrison told Seacrest.
For the “made up” stuff and “lies” see Chris Harrison: We have never decided the ending of ‘The Bachelor’.
