Star Magazine’s latest edition to hit the stands includes the over-the-top headline, Angie & Brad:

In the Aug. 9 issue of Star, on sale today, we have eight never-before-seen graphic photos — taken by a friend who she often did drugs with — that Angelina would rather forget.

In one set, the now-mother of six has black tape over her nipples and a dog leash around her neck. Others show her during a 14-hour heroin-smoking bender.

“The photographs are a startling reminder to Angelina of a period in her life I’m sure she wants to forget, a shady piece of her history that she’s kept hidden away, even from Brad,” celebrity biographer Andrew Morton, author of Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography, tells Star in our cover story.

Apparently Angelina Jolie hasn’t forgotten about her “shady piece of history” because in 2008, Angelina spoke about her past.

Meanwhile, Angelina also revealed that she had experimented with drugs and went through bouts of severe depression in her teens and early 20s. “I knew little about the world and I was completely self-absorbed,” said Jolie.

Angelina has openly spoken of her youthful self-loathing, which led to cutting herself with knives, her fascination with death, thoughts of suicide, and undefined feelings of frustration. Looking back on this period in 2003, she explained:

“I used to think I was unstable, because I had this thirst for something. I could never figure out what it was. I couldn’t sleep at night, and I always wanted to be somewhere else, and I have a window tattooed, this little box, and it’s because wherever I was, I wanted to be somewhere else. And I always saw myself — wherever I was in life — staring out the window.”

In the same article, Brad Pitt admitted he’d quit smoking pot because he’d turned into a doughnut, and, because he’d become a dad:

Brad Pitt gave up smoking pot a few years ago after becoming a dad. Pitt, 45, is the father of six children with Oscar winner Angelina Jolie, 34.

“I certainly had my day [smoking pot],” Brad revealed recently on Bill Maher’s talk show. “Now it kind of turns me into a doughnut.”

Since the public pretty much already knows about Angelina’s “shady” past it’s a sure bet so does Brad Pitt. The Star Magazine story is the naked photos of Angelina Jolie from Angelina’s past which if you want to see them you’ll have to either buy Star or thumb through Star Magazine at the supermarket checkout stand.

Since those photos were taken Angelina Jolie has become a major movie star and a Goodwill ambassador at the U.N. in 2001.

In 2001, she was named a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador.
