Ashley Holmes found guilty of Danielle Staub hair extension assault!
Monday night Bravo will air part two of the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s season two Posche Fashion show fight between Danielle Staub, Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, and Jacqueline’s daughter Ashley Homes. The incident and episode occurred 8 months ago, with the aftermath documented by the courts and the press.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season two Posche Fashion Show fight part two episode occurred on November 11, 2009, at the North Jersey Country Club located in Wayne, New Jersey.
After the fight Danielle filed a police report, then filed complaints against Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, and Ashley Holmes.
On December 3rd, 2009, Danielle Staub was summoned to the Wayne, New Jersey, Municipal Court. Accompanying Danielle for “support”: Kim “G” Granatell, Lisa Horan from Oakland, and Marilyn Madeo from Nutley. Also appearing at the courthouse, a Bravo production crew who filmed Danielle’s court appearance for an upcoming episode of RHONJ. Not appearing at the court house to testify, Jacqueline, Teresa, and Ashley.
In court, Danielle’s attorney, Darrren Del Sardo, told Judge Lawrence Katz, Danielle wanted to drop the harassment complaints Danielle filed against Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice.
Danielle testified in court:
-Jacqueline and Teresa were outside the bathroom “waiting” for Danielle, then began “yelling at Danielle”.
-Danielle testified she “felt threatened”.
-Danielle testified she was “pushed”, “scratched”, and “broke her high heel” when Danielle ran.
-Danielle testified Ashley came after Danielle in the parking lot–while Danielle was being carried by her bodyguard–with Ashley “screaming”, “cursing”, then ripped out one of Danielle’s hair extensions.
-Danielle testified “I’m just a little afraid, to be honest with you.”
After Danielle testified, the judge issued a summons against Ashley Holmes on charges of harassment and simple assault, both disorderly persons offenses.
On Friday, January 29, Ashley Holmes appeared in court, without a Bravo camera crew, and was found guilty of simple assault and fined $189 which included a $33 court fee.
Holmes’ attorney, Scott Bocker, said Friday that “Ashley was found guilty of the simple assault charge and the judge dismissed the harassment charge. The judge was very sympathetic and I want to thank the prosecutor; when it came down to sentencing Ashley, Mr. Melani also expressed sympathy for Ashley and asked the judge to be extremely lenient.”
Mr. Melani was the prosecutor. A prosecutor who “expressed sympathy” for Ashley.
On June 8, 2009, Real Housewives of New York City cast member Kelly Bensimon accepted a plea deal of two days of community service after Kelly was arrested for misdemeanor assault on March 5th after allegedly punching her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov, 30, in Kelly’s apartment. Missing from the action, a Bravo production camera crew.
What’s interesting about Kelly’s arrest was a New York Daily News article published March 13, eight days after Kelly’s arrest. A gossip-related article which asked:

Insiders seem to think it’s possible. At the launch of co-star Bethenny Frankel’s diet book, “Naturally Thin,†Wednesday night, the “Wives†and their pals were all buzzing about Bensimon’s arrest.
“Some people on the show suspect that Kelly orchestrated the entire situation to better her chances of being asked back next season,†one insider says of Bensimon, who was arrested last week for misdemeanor assault after boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov called the cops, saying she’d punched him.
“Kelly is ruthless. Some who know her think she planned the attack with Nicholas. He’s speaking of her too positively for this to be domestic abuse. Shouldn’t he be angrier? It’s also convenient that Kelly timed the leak of her arrest to the day a new episode of the show aired.
In Kelly’s defense, if Kelly was that “brilliant”, she’d have waited until there was a Bravo production camera crew to film Kelly punching Nicholas.

Caroline: “Yes! She’s part of the Jersey Housewive’s right? She was invited.â€
As for Kim “G” Granatell, it’s fairly amazing Kim “G” has gotten as much face time this season for someone who isn’t an official Real Housewives cast member. Today, Kim tweeted:

An interesting comment when you realize the ramifications of what occurred during the episode, the reality that the cops were involved and the courts, including Ashley Holmes acquiring a real criminal record. In the real world away from reality tv, “awesome!!!” seems rather bizarre.

Sad when Danielle is the innocent victim. All these ladies have serious issues, not just her. I cannot believe how many people defend the craziness. These behaiors should not be rewarded by Bravo but obviously they are. Little Ashley assaulter got a blog and way more face time as *punishment* for her crime.

I normally find Danielle extrmely irritating to watch, especially when she does the interview later. But this time she actually was a victim. Teresa wanted face time with her, and if Danielle hadn’t been so “snarky” I think they could have exchanged pleasantries and gone their separate ways. But just like the table flipping incident, Danielle pushed Teresa a little too hard and she flipped out again. Why was Danielle runnning? She had a body guard to physically protect her and is just as capable of exchanging nasty remarks as anyone else. I guess I’ll have to watch the episode to find out. Unfortunately, now Danielle has been vindicated to the world as actually needing “protection”. Uhhhg!!

why the heck wasnt ashley arrested that was assault and she should have been arrested and taken off to jail.I bet she would cried her little eyes out like a little snotnose,obnoxious,fat,ugly,brat,pig that she is, instead she got away with it and pretended to act all tough about it.She’s not very smart at all i feel bad for her mom and why the heck is she so fat and ugly her mom is hottt.
