The National Enquirer has learned that John Edwards mistress, Rielle Hunter will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s nationally-syndicated show in the May sweeps. It’s the second stop on the 2010 Rielle Hunter Mistress Rehabilitation Media Tour.

Rielle Hunter will be continuing her media make-over, trying for a do-over in the public mind; from widely-perceived home-wrecker to misunderstood, truth-seeking fixer of toxic marriages.
The National Enquirer announced today that the next stop on the 2010 Rielle Hunter Mistress Rehabilitation Tour will be at Oprah’s.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER can exclusively report that Rielle Hunter has decided to give Oprah access to her Charlotte, NC home for a TV interview that will air during May sweeps.
Hunter opened the tour with an exclusive 10,000-word blitz in the pages of GQ magazine that featured a Rielle romp on her daughter’s bed.

The Enquirer reports that Oprah’s gain was Barbara Walters’ and Diane Sawyer’s loss.
Rielle has been in talks with ABC’s Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer but thought Oprah was “more spiritual and would get her,” according to the insider.
The source also reveals that John Edwards encouraged Rielle to go on Oprah just like he encouraged her to do the GQ interview.
“John wants the world to see Rielle in a different light, not like the home wrecker she’s been portrayed,” added the insider.
Many eyes will be drawn to this impending afternoon train wreck to see if Hunter is immune to media coaching, or if the irrepressible madcap mistress will once again set her Being (is) Free.
EXPECTATIONS
1-Even though Oprah will be first, expect Rielle to make the TV rounds.
2-Expect the former Lisa Druck to end up on Barbara Walters at some point.
3-Though the Enquirer doesn’t mention it, expect an appearance by Edwards-Hunter love child, Frances Quinn.
4-Just speculation at this point, but anticipation is high that Hunter will wear more than a men’s shirt and pearls for her first national TV appearance.
It is an afternoon show, after all.
