John Edwards might be hearing those two little words which strike fear into the hearts of politicians everywhere. “You’re indicted.” That’s what the Enquirer sources are saying today.
ENQUIRER GETS IN SOME SHOTS AT “TWO-TIME LOSER” EDWARDS
Big news from the National Enquirer this morning: the Grand Jury in North Carolina examining the financial hanky-panky of former presidential candidate, John Edwards, is ready to indict him.
The ultimate fall from grace, a Federal grand jury is about to indict John Edwards, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
In another shocker, close sources say Edwards’ estranged wife Elizabeth could help send the former presidential candidate to jail!

Stung by the label “tabloid trash” that Edwards used to describe the National Enquirer when the tabloid–which is in the running for two Pulitzer Prizes–was investigating his affair and cover-up, the Enquirer gets in a few shots of its own in today’s news.
Edwards, the disgraced two-time Presidential loser, [emphasis ours] is being investigated by the feds, including the FBI and IRS, for possible campaign violations related to paying his mistress Rielle Hunter.
The grand jury has been meeting since April 2009, and insiders say an indictment is imminent.
“John is terrified that he’s going to be indicted,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.
As always, the story on the Enquirer website is a teaser of what is contained in today’s print edition of the National Enquirer–which the story reminds readers they can pick up at news stands everywhere.
As we said during the months of the investigation, time will tell.
But, our money’s on the Enquirer in this one. We’ll explain why in later posts.

Let’s hope Rielle Hunter is smart enough to refuse to sign any sort of pre-nuptial agreement.
Rielle has Johnnie Boy over a barrel.
If he marrys Rielle, she can’t testify against him due to spousal immunity.
If he doesn’t marry her, she testifies against him and he will surely go to prison for a full eight years, possibly a lot longer.
In fact, Rielle could ask for a $10M lump sum cash payment prior to their marriage and he’d be forced to do it.
Elizabeth Edwards would try to stop that transfer in court, alleging that it represents some money that should be hers in their divorce settlement, but its small enough portion of John’s money it would not get held up.
