Andrew, Cheri Young Face Jail Time over John Edwards, Rielle Hunter Sex Tape: ABC News Fails to Report They’ve Seen Sex Tape

Why hasn’t ABC News reported they’ve seen the Rielle Hunter-John Edwards sex tape or that Andrew Young revealed in testimony he’d shown the tape to ABC News?
On February 16, we reported ABC News had seen the tape. On February 10, the Washington Post reported Young testified in court he’d shown the tape to ABC prior to the Bob Woodruff, ABC 20/20 interview which aired January 29, 2010. We noted ABC News had yet to report they’d seen the tape. We also noted neither Woodruff or Young, in the 20/20 interview, acknowledged ABC News had viewed the tape while Woodruff and Young played a game of “what’s on the tape?” and, “how do you, Young, know it’s Edwards and Hunter in the tape?”. ABC’s George Stephanopoulos played the same game with Young when Young appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America the following Monday.
Continuing the trend of “pretend we haven’t seen the tape”, ABC News filed a report on yesterday’s court proceedings which included this:
Hunter’s lawyers produced a new affidavit from freelance journalist Roger Draper, who said in a statement that Young showed him the tape in March 2009.
Young failed to mention in his own affidavit that Draper had been shown the tape. His lawyers cited memory lapse for the oversight.
Young and his wife Cheri will testify later today on what Jones identified as discrepancies in their statements.
ABC News reported Young “had failed to mention” Draper’s private viewing while ABC News “failed to mention” they too had seen the tape. Yesterday’s AP report included what ABC News has, so far, failed to report:
“Hunter’s attorneys have also accused Young of lying when he initially claimed that the only copies of the tape had been sealed for more than a year in an Atlanta safety deposit box. Young has since said he showed the video to ABC News recently as he prepared to promote his tell-all book with the program.”
The AP report failed to mention where and when Young “said” he shown the tape to ABC: in prior testimony, under oath, back in February.
ABC News played a pivotal MSM role in the John Edwards affair scandal landing exclusive interviews with Edwards on August 8, 2008 and exclusive interviews with Andrew Young at the end of January. ABC News is now playing a pivotal role in the Andrew Young, Rielle Hunter sex tape court proceedings as one of the “parties” who has seen the tape while at the same time, failing to report testimony that involves ABC News.

Would have a certain injustice if the only person who went to jail over the John Edwards lovechild scandal was the same person Edwards’ engineered to take the fall for him earlier.
Now that Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina took the heroic step of stopping Obama’s attempts to swap US Attorneys in the middle of the Edwards Grand Jury with longtime Edwards’ donor Thomas Walker, Edwards is absolutely certain to be indicted.

Many pundits have expressed a belief that Edwards plans to marry Rielle Hunter in an attempt to invoke spousal immunity at trial, permanently silencing her.
Rielle Hunter is totally calling the shots now and should never, ever sign any sort of prenuptial.
She literally holds the key to John’s freedom.
