What to do when you’re Lynne Curtin and you’ve got two bratty daughters and you want to get away for a break? Here’s a tip: Don’t have lunch with Gretchen Rossi. In tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Orange County Lynne’s daughter Alexa dissed her mother with a stunning foul mouth display of disrespect during a shopping trip to the mall.

Not content with calling her mother a bitch, Alexa used other foul language in an attempt to manipulate Lynne. In public, and, on camera. Lynne’s crime: Telling her daughter to treat her with respect. Lynne looked forward to getting with the Housewives in order to get away from the stress of having an “underprivileged” teen at home. Sadly, the lunch at Alexis Bellino turned into a “tell Lynne how to raise her daughters” lecture from Gretchen with Alexis weighing in. (Someday Alexis and Gretchen, it’ll be your turn to deal with spoiled kids.)
Lynne, who had a bit too much to drink, didn’t take to kindly to Gretchen’s “just because you plop a baby out between your legs” doesn’t mean you know how to be a mom spiel. Lynne responded with a “bullshit” and a hardy, “f$#$k you!” then disintegrated into a booze fueled nuclear breakdown. Tamra stayed mum, most likely stunned the heated confrontation was between Lynne and Gretchen. Meanwhile, Gretchen seemed oblivious that the lunch may not have been the best venue to lecture Lynne on her kids or that Lynne wasn’t in the mood to get a full court press lecture from a childless friend on how to raise kids. Gretchen’s a lovely girl. Even so, Gretchen is clueless that Lynne’s family is Lynne’s business. Gretchen needs to recall how offended she was when Tamra lectured her on taking a short holiday trip with a terminally ill Jeff in the hospital. Gretchen told Tamra, “until you have a loved one with cancer” you need to keep your comments to yourself. So hey, Gretchen, the same concept applies to you in regards to Lynne and Alexa.

I had already written my blog yesterday regarding this lost episode and didn’t get to send it in because I was at Slade’s son’s graduation. On my way home I received tons of calls and e-mails regarding Tamra’s blog on Bravotv.com and the excuses she used for her inappropriate actions on the reunion show. So of course, I read what she wrote and now feel forced to address the lies she continues to spin to the press and the public. Sorry in advance for this being long winded, but I have been QUIET for way too long, and it’s about time the truth be told as Tamra so eloquently pointed out.
First of all let me state this very clearly, Tamra changes her story according to how it best suites her in that moment. I have honestly never met anyone so contradictory in my life (or someone that just plan lies to your face) Let’s address some of Tamra’s stories as I like to call them.
Previews for next week’s episode show Tamra and Simon’s marriage in further trouble. Sadly, when this season’s filming ended, so did Tamra and Simon’s marriage. Shortly after Tamra separated from Simon, Tamra moved into a two-bedroom apartment, Simon filed for divorce. In the divorce documents, Simon alleged infidelity and disloyalty on Tamra’s part. Exactly!! I’m fairly if I were there I would have told Gretchen (and Alexis who wasn’t pressing as hard as Gretchen) to stop then try to get them to see how it was affecting Lynne. No matter how good their intentions, they failed to realize that their friend wasn’t in the mood to discuss her kids and that Lynne had the right to tell them to drop it.

I am sorry but Lynn definately needs a reality check. Her daughter is a brat. She needs to lay off the wine and focus a little more on discipling her spoiled little brat of a kid!!!!! I agree that maybe that wasnt the best time but what time is the best for a friend to let you know you bratty little daughter walks all over you because you fail to give her any type of structure or discipline!

Lynne needs to step up. I mean her own daughter said that she punishes herself. As for Gretchen she did ask Lynne first if she could talk to her (cry baby) daughter so I don’t know why Lynne got so mad. Lynne is just a horrible mother. Step up Lynne. Be a Mother not the Friend.

A couple of Lynn’s “friends” on Facebook commented about how Lynn’s daughter was holding a beer bottle during a photo shoot-she is 18. She defended her daughter. Lynn deleted those “friends” right away. Shows what kind of mother she is! Her warm sunny greetings on Facebook are phony!
