Another day and yet another woman who claims she was one of Tiger Wood’s “mistresses”. According to the Examiner, porn star Holly Sampson Emmanuelle claims she’s Tiger Wood’s “Number Nine”:

Holly Sampson Emmanuelle was named Tiger Woods 9th alleged mistress over the course of the night. Who is Holly Sampson Emmanuelle? If Holly Sampson Emmanuelle sounds familiar to you, it’s because this Tiger Woods alleged mistress is a porn star. Yes, that’s right – Tiger (allegedly) got down and dirty with a porn star.

Other reports linked Woods to 36-year-old blond porn star Holly Sampson. Britain’s Daily Mail reported that the Los Angeles hottie – star of such recent adult films as “OMG, Stop Tickling Me” and “Flying Solo 2″ – is “not denying she bedded Tiger.”

“She has no comment on the matter,” Sampson’s Denver-based lawyer Andrew Contiguglia told The News.

If true, Sampson would be lucky No. 7 on the list of purported Woods’ bedmates, which includes hot-bodied blonds and brunettes with an average age of 30.

And then there’s Oprah, according to the New York Daily News, Oprah has purportedly sent out a special “O” invitation to Tiger to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

The talk-show queen has called Tiger Woods to offer him advice – and a chance to tell his side of the story.

While everyone is clamoring to woo Tiger into their television lairs, “only Lady O has personally reached out,” according to Rob Shuter of the celebrity Web site PopEater.com.

One has to wonder just what Tiger’s “side of the story” would be? The “more the merrier”? My marriage was sooooo bad I had to seek “comfort” in the arms of numerous hot babes with inflated breasts? Or, the David Duchovny sex addiction defense: a “compulsion” to be “unfaithful”, where serial cheating is an “addiction” on the same level as alcohol or drug addiction, where the “victim” is the sex addict.

Duchovny starred in the tv series X-Files and Californication, where Duchovny plays a sex-obsessed womanizer. Duchovny checked in to sex rehab in 2008 after reports that Duchovny’s wife, actress Tea Leoni “discovered” Duchovny’s “indiscretions” and threatened divorce.

According to the source, Duchovny has admitted that he is compulsively driven to be unfaithful and finds it impossible to turn down the legions of women who offer themselves to him.

Duchovny issued a statement before he checked into The Meadows facility in Arizona where Duchovny spent 35 days getting treatment. Immediately after Duchovny began his treatment Reuters weighed in with David Duchovny’s sex disorder likened to alcoholism.

Often likened to alcoholism, drug addiction or gambling, sex addiction is a form of compulsive behavior which is sending growing numbers of people into therapy but which is not formally recognized as a “diagnosable disorder” by the American Psychiatric Association.

“The concept of sexual addiction is a controversial one and that’s because it is difficult to define,” said Dr. Steve Eichel, an addiction specialist who works in Delaware.

According to the Mayo Clinic, symptoms range from rampant promiscuity to spending hours looking at pornography and using sex to escape from problems such as depression or stress. It is often accompanied by secrecy and shame, and sufferers have difficulties with emotional intimacy.

After Duchovny had completed his rehab, he and Tea-who had been married in 1997 and had to kids- announced they had been separated for months and that they wanted to keep their lives private.

Also, image experts believe Tiger needs to take his “story by the tail”:

Image experts said it was time Tiger took the story by the tail.

“If he were my client I would counsel him to say as much as he can say to come clean,” said Barbara Laskin, president of Laskin Media.

There’s no doubt that Tiger Woods does have an image expert, and, that it’s apparent Woods and, or, his image expert feel Tiger’s best defense at the moment is to stay mum. Like Duchovny, Woods could claim the “indiscretions” were due to a sex addiction. And, like Duchovny, Woods could seek counseling. If Woods were to take this course, he’d satisfy some of the growing disgust over his sexual shenanigans and satisfy one of Oprah’s main themes of guests who overcame adversity through admitting their addiction then seeking help.
Bet you ten bucks this is where the Tiger debacle is headed, and, that a Tiger Woods “How I Overcame Sexual Addiction” type book will be on the bookshelves by next year.
