Can it get any worse? But then again, you kinda knew it had to happen in the digital age.

Someone’s trying to sell naked Tiger Woods pictures to Playgirl according to a report out of Las Vegas–which just happens to be where a boatload of Tiger Woods mistresses live.

Hell hath no fury like a mistress scorned–especially if she has a cell phone camera or a hand-held video recorder? Or maybe it’s just as simple a thing as a girl’s gotta eat–and to eat, you need some cash.

From FOX5 in Las Vegas, ‘Playgirl’ May Get Naked Pics Of Tiger Woods:

A representative from the online adult magazine confirmed to FoxNews.com that they received an offer to purchase naked male photographs, which were allegedly of Woods.

The following paragraph shows that someone at Playgirl has a sense of humor when issuing news releases:

“We were approached by a third party who wanted to know our ‘interest level.’ Our lawyers are currently going over them, the source, the entire package,” Playgirl spokeswoman Daniel Nardicio said, adding that the magazine would only buy the pictures if it can confirm them to be of Woods.

The entire package? Really? Did that have more than one meaning, perhaps?

As stated in our earlier article today, this isn’t good news for Team Tiger and the Brand formerly known as Tiger Woods.

If this is true and PLaygirl announces that there will be naked pictures of Tiger Woods published, will Gillette want a half-naked Tiger hawking its blades and razors? Will that mean that he loses another sponsor? He’s already lost his connection with Gatorade–although they said it had “nothing to do with the affairs”. Sure.

So was it a jilted mistress? A soon-to-be ex-wife (unlikely)? Or is Tiger himself trying to scare up some cash that’s sure to be needed down the road?

Soon, it’s going to get to the point where the stories will get so bizarre on a perverse level–like they haven’t already?–that the biggest story will be one that reads something like, “Tiger Woods Nice to his Mother and Pets”.

UPDATE #2: Another mistress has come forward. Her name is Joslyn James. Don’t know much at the moment other than that. But if we were to bet, she’s probably 1-from Las Vegas; and, 2-blonde.
