Here’s three pieces of advice for Tiger Woods’ reputed extra-marital squeeze, Rachel Uchitel:
1-Don’t tug on Superman’s cape;
2-Don’t spit into the wind; and
3-Don’t lie to the National Enquirer.
Uchitel is denying she’s the “other woman” in the Tiger Woods cheating scandal and hinting at lawsuits against the Enquirer. The Enquirer is hitting back with a fistful of smoking guns: times, dates, pictures and other incriminating information.
After angrily denying that a friend the Enquirer quoted in their story exposing Uchitel as “the other woman” in the Tiger Woods affair was a friend (and pretending to not know her last name), the Enquirer hit back by publishing the following photos.
They seem to indicate that Rachel Uchitel and Ashley Samson–the Enquirer source–are at least on “speaking terms”. And they seem to indicate that Rachel and Ashley do know each other.

Rachel, who denies an affair with Tiger, told one media outlet that she hardly knows Ashley, who is quoted on-the-record in our story. Rachel said she wasn’t even sure of the woman’s last name.
However, we can reveal that Rachel is such a close friend of Ashley’s that she recently invited Ashley to join her and some other pals on a trip to Spain.
AND in an ENQUIRER web exclusive, we’re publishing a photo showing Rachel partying with her friend Ashley on that recent trip to Spain. (SEE ABOVE: Ashley is the blonde, Rachel is the brunette)
Rachel, who confesses that she does know Tiger, also outrageously says she’s never even texted Tiger.
But Ashley told The ENQUIRER: “Rachel said she first met Tiger in May at a New York club where she was working, and gave him her number. In June she told me, ‘Tiger Woods is blowing up my cell phone with messages!’
The Enquirer has the fine art of understatement down to a science.
It publishes the pictures and says that Rachel Uchitel’s denials are “full of contradictions”.
That’s like saying that there’s a few bitchy women on “Bridezillas”.

Tiger announced that he pulling out of his own charity golf tournament this weekend. Reports cited his “injuries from a car crash”, but it’s been speculated that it’s because the MR. PRIVATE Tiger is not up to the press avalanche of questions he’s sure to encounter about his marriage, the crash and Rachel.
Meanwhile, both Tiger and wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, have stayed mum about his “accident”–which brought matters to a very public head.
As far as publicity for the National Enquirer: the tabloid couldn’t have scripted events any better to draw attention to their Rachel Uchitel-Tiger Woods affair stories. The affair is now out in the open, sparked by the police responding to the Tiger Woods’ SUV crash and the bizarre events that followed.

The Enquirer forced Uchitel to admit that she was lying when she claimed she was in Australia recently (the same time Tiger Woods was there–and in the same hotel!) “with a boyfriend”.
Then she changed her story to she was in Australia “on business”.
“Monkey business” is the easy answer, but the Enquirer doesn’t pick that low-handing fruit. It allows commentators like this writer to do it for them.
The tabloid’s website (National Enquirer.com) promises “a lot more to be released”.
Probably just as soon as the ink is dry on the next Rachel Uchitel denial story.
UPDATE: It seems that sponsors are standing by their Tiger. Nike and Gillette are holding steady with Tiger, according to reports.
ADVICE:
* – to Tiger Woods: Get out in front of the story and man up. It’s coming out whether you hide for another week or not. In fact, speculation and the Enquirer’s special brand of Chinese water torture of releasing just enough info for all involved to deny themselves into looking stupid will actually get worse.
* – to Rachel Uchitel: ditto. Although, it’s high entertainment watching the mating dance of Uchitel denials and the Enquirer’s refutations.
* – Elin Nordegren Woods: Stay quiet. The story of how you “helped” your husband out of the car–using a golf club(?!?!) was inspired. You’re the sympathetic one, so just stay mum.
