That's how far in denial and how cynical we have become. Whether the Fourth Kind is fact or fiction, I don't understand one thing: I read on other sites how the FBI were investigating disappearances of people in Alaska and they came to the conclusion it was alcohol related. Now, how do you get from alcohol related disappearances to UFO abductions?? Isn't that a bit of a stretch, even for Hollywood? It puts a whole other spin as to what aliens are like. I think it's probably fiction but really really well done. This movie will have you bolt upright in your seat. I also think alot of people would kindof like the idea about ufo's and aliens but if this reflects the slightest truth about them, then you really don't ever want to have any encounter.
