We’re tracking news reports of the latest info on Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue” book tour: How Sarah’s tour has fared so far, and, news reports on upcoming events in the days ahead. We’ve also included Palin’s book tour schedule at the bottom of the page.
Yesterday was Day Two of Sarah Palin’s “Going Rogue” book tour. Her first stop was in Summit City near Fort Wayne, Indiana at a local Meijer’s store. More than 1200 people-the wristbands were limited-waited in line for eight hours to receive a wristband that would get them a few seconds face time and a purchased signed copy of Palin’s book. Along with the crowd, several national news media trucks covering the event.
According to the Indiana News Center, fans at the day’s next stop, a Borders in Noblesville, Indiana, had been lining up since 7 am in order to get a coveted wristband for the scheduled 6 pm arrival and book signing by Palin.

Sarah Palin Makes Fort Wayne A Stop On Her Book Tour
According to WHTR.com, “thousands” of Palin fans waited in cold and rainy weather for hours outside the Noblesville, IN, Borders bookstore. Palin’s “Going Rogue” RV arrived at the store “just minutes” before the scheduled event was due to start. Although Palin spoke to her fans, she reportedly ignored the media.
Today’s scheduled “Going Rogue” events will be held at noon in the Cincinnati, OH, area at a Joseph-Beth Bookstore in Norwood and a Borders bookstore in Columbus at 6 p.m..
According to wlwt.com, all 1,000 tickets were already claimed while the store estimated “twice as many fans” to show up. The bookstore plans to limit access to shoppers who have a signed copy of Palin’s book.
10tv.com published an rather interesting online report on Palin’s Columbus, Ohio stop at Borders. The report began with “dozens” of people began to arrive “early”, then later reported, “By 6 a.m., an estimated 150 people were in line”, then gave an account from a woman who had been there “overnight”-something she’d never done-in an effort to get a leg up in the line for the limited number of a 1,000 tickets.
Yesterday, when compiling news reports on Palin’s book tour stops in Ohio, I found the Cleveland media had reported on Palin’s book tour one day prior to the event, but was unable to find a single report out of Columbus.
Tomorrow Palin will arrive in the Washington, PA, area at the local Sam’s Club.
Palin is set to appear in South Strabane, PA, on Saturday at the local Sam’s Club. According the Pittsburgh Gazette, the western PA town is “abuzz” over Palin’s upcoming visit, that Sam’s Club planned on handing out wristbands to the first 1,000 who showed up while those who weren’t members of the store had to obtain a one-day pass. So far, the store has reported receiving “hundreds of calls”.
Palin’s tour is scheduled for to last for “about three weeks” with a break at Thanksgiving, then end on December 10.

Good on Sarah Palin, snubbing the national media; she does not owe them a d*mn thing. For the past 2 year until present day, every single one of them did everything they could to trash everything about her and her family.
I hope she tells them all to go to H*ll and look forward to the trip, in that charming folksy way of hers.
