Housewives Producers Edited out Gretchen’s “Purse” Scene in Season One Premier
The following Youtube is part of a recent interview with Gretchen with TV Guide. In the interview, Gretchen tells more about the “man” whom Tamra Barney claimed called her.
According to Gretchen, Tamra “believed” the things the “man” told her, a guy who Gretchen claims was a “friend” who was “drunk” and who “wanted to be her boyfriend”. The same friend who Gretchen alleges stole her private photos-”naked” photos of Gretchen posted on the web-and, the same friend whom Gretchen had to get a restraining order.

Gretchen said the producers of Real Housewives edited out key info from the season five premiere. That Gretchen had brought evidence of Tamra’s “lies” and that Gretchen had thrown her purse down and “threw it right at” Tamra. That Gretchen had a copy of an email that was sent from Simon to Tamra where Simon had called Tamra a “liar”.
As for Slade, Gretchen said it was a “tough decision” for Slade to get involved again with the show. How “tough” was it for Slade? Check out the following youtube of episode two of season five and Gretchen’s “tanning party” where Slade puts a sock on “Mr. Happy”. Also at the party, Lynne Curtain and her 16-yr-old daughter, Alexa.
The following Youtube video from the AP is an interview with Gretchen who gave insight into her fiance, Jeff Beitzel’s, medical condition just prior to the show. Why she felt that Jeff’s stay in the hospital deserved privacy, and that Gretchen was still contractually obligated to “hang out” with the Housewives.
The next Youtube is an interview of Gretchen with datemate Slade Smiley shot at the premier of Astroboy on October 21. The interview was filmed after season five filming ended and the “reunion” episode, and shows Gretchen’s “new look”. Gretchen stated she “didn’t talk to Jo”, one of the original Housewives, Slade’s former fiance, and co-star of their short-lived series, Jo and Slade: Date My Ex.
As for the “nude” photos of Gretchen, we believe Gretchen’s account, that the photos were stolen, then sold and now plastered across the web. In episode one Tamra berated Gretchen by continually referencing the photos of Gretchen’s “va-jayjay” and a “vibrator”, that every time Tamra “turned on her computer”, Tamra would “see”. Unless Tamra has added the photos as her wallpaper, an easy solution would be for Tamra to stop “googling” Gretchen.
