Possible H1N1 Swine Flu Mutation in Ukraine: Terrified Doctors Liken Symptoms to Spanish Flu
British Scientists Testing New Ukrainian “Super” Flu
Deaths Due to Viral Distress Syndrome, “Total Destruction of Lungs”

According to the Daily Mail, British scientists are testing a new “super flu” in the Ukraine which has claimed 189 lives with more than a million infected.
According to the news site Sott.net, the death toll has risen to 239: “26 in one day”, 14 from “pandemic influenza”.
In the Daily Mail article the reason given why there’s testing underway: Doctors were horrified to discover during autopsies the victim’s lungs were “black as charcoal”, and that the lungs looked as if they had been “burned” and, that some doctors have likened the symptoms to the deadly 1918 Pandemic, or Spanish Flu, which caused an estimated 50-100 million deaths worldwide.
In the Sott.net article more information on the cause of death of 22 victims-all ages between 20-40 from Bukovyna-as Viral Distress Syndrome, or “total destruction of the lungs”. The virus went “straight to the lungs”, causing “heavy swelling and solid hemorrhage” due to “Mixed types of parainfluenza and influenza A/N1N1″. Another find: “the virus is extremely toxic, it is able to penetrate not only through respiratory apparatus but also through the eyes”.
The EU has gotten involved after Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote a letter demanding “rapid action”. Surrounding countries have implemented “health checks” on Ukrainians entering their countries, while Slovakia has closed two of five border crossings.
The Spanish Flu was a deadly form of influenza virus strain of subtype H1N1. The virus was dubbed Spanish Flu by the press after 8 million died in Spain. It’s believed the 1918 virus originated in the United States with an estimated 650,000 deaths.
Symptoms: Normal flu symptoms of fever, nausea, aches and diarrhea. Many developed severe pneumonia attack. Dark spots would appear on the cheeks and patients would turn blue, suffocating from a lack of oxygen as lungs filled with a frothy, bloody substance.

In 2005, NPR published an article about the 1918 Pandemic and the fact that researchers, who had “rebuilt” the virus from “pieces of genetic material” from the “lungs” of those who had succumbed from the virus, over “87 years ago”, discovered the “tightly guarded replica” was “even more virulent” than scientists “had expected”.

My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.

If you look at the pandemic of 1977, when H1N1 or Swine Flu re-emerged after a 20 year absence, there is no shift in age-related mortality pattern. The 1977 “pandemic” is, of course, not considered a true pandemic by experts today, for reasons that are not entierely consistent. It certainly was an antigenic shift and not an antigenic drift. As far as I have been able to follow the current events, the most significant factor seems to have been that most people, who were severely affected, were people with other medical conditions.
