What a difference one season makes in the Real Housewives of Orange County. Last season Tamra Barney’s son Ryan told Tamra and Simon he was thinking of becoming a cop. This season, the preview for next week’s episode showed a teary-eyed Ryan telling his mother Tamra Barney that he may go to jail. In a recent edition of In Touch Weekly, Gretchen let the cat out of the bag in regards to whether Ryan went to jail when she responded to Tamra’s “opinion” of Gretchen’s “new” love interest Slade:

“Gretchen tells In Touch, going on to allude to a past incident involving Tamra’s son. “One of them went to jail recently and has not been successful at much except hitting on drunk girls that Mommy connives to get naked wasted at her home.”

We think we may have the answer as to what “predicament” Ryan was in and the BIGGEST reason why he was upset: Fast driving Ryan, who’s in his early 20′s, may have spent a few days in jail and, have his mother Tamra or his grandmother act as his chauffeur until April 2012 if he wants to “get around”.

The reason why: On March 23, 2009, Ryan plead guilty to driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, a “two point violation” in the state of California. Prior to the guilty of driving on a suspended or revoked license violation, Ryan had more than previous 20 traffic violations.

Ryan was sentenced to 3 years probation, a $300 fine, and 5 days of community service in lieu of 5 days in jail. On October 19, 2009, the Superior Court of California Orange County held a Probation Violation Arraignment, meaning Ryan was charged with violating the “terms” of his parole.

In 2007, Ryan plead guilty on 10/02/2007, to:

Speeding greater than 100 miles per hour, two point violation, Failure to obey posted sign for preferential lanes, a one point violation, and Driving over double lines of preferential lanes-a one point violation. Ryan received a 30 days License Suspension.

Last year, Ryan was ticketed for several moving violations which added more “points” to his license. Too many points and your license can be revoked or suspended. Another reason you can lose your license: failure to pay fines, or, failure to perform the conditions of your sentence such as performing the mandatory community service. Most, if not all states treat driving with a suspended or revoked license as “very serious”, and, in some cases, can mean serving some jail time. Either way, Ryan is “on foot” for the duration of his probation, until 2012.

Gretchen and Slade: Married or Merely Modeling?

We spotted on professional photographer Tracie Taylor’s Flikr page several photos of Gretchen in a wedding gown, including two with Slade, dressed as a groom. Due to copyright infringement, here’s the link: “Gretchen and Slade Wedding Photo”.

The photos were taken on April 17, 2009. If this were a modeling gig, we’ve yet to hear from the clothes designer, or, whether Slade and Gretchen posed for the professional photographer for her wedding portfolio. Whatever the reason for the photos, the photographer has yet to respond on her Flikr page to questions which were posted regarding whether Gretchen and Slade “got married”.

The latest issue of In Touch Weekly reports that the Gretchen-Tamra feud re-escalated after a recent episode was aired where Slade “bashed” Tamra’s “parenting” skills:

“I take raising my children very personally. Maybe it’s something he should try doing,” Tamra, 42, tells In Touch. “I think he is a washed-up 40-year-old who wants to be on TV so bad, he’ll do whatever it takes.” But Gretchen, 31, was quick to strike back. “She should focus on her own children, who obviously need the attention,” Gretchen tells In Touch, going on to allude to a past incident involving Tamra’s son. “One of them went to jail recently and has not been successful at much except hitting on drunk girls that Mommy connives to get naked wasted at her home.”

The “Naked Wasted” episode was an extremely low point for Tamra and her son. Even so, Slade should have stayed clear of criticizing Tamra’s parenting skills due to Slade’s failure to pay past child support totaling over $77,000, while one of his sons has been battling a rare form of malignant brain tumor-see Slade Smiley, Deadbeat Dad. And, his ex-wife’s claim that Slade visited his young son Grayson last year “twice” and failed to send the boy a birthday card.

Jeana’s Got a Brand New Duzoxim “Blog”, Vicki and Jeana “Together Again”, The New Diet Supplement Duzoxim Hyped by Some of the Real Housewives

It seems the diet supplement company Duzoxim has signed up three of the Real Housewives of Orange County as spokespersons: Vicki, Jeana and now Tamra.

Jeana has a page at the Duzoxim blogs the Jeana Keough Blog, while Tamra has a “testimonial”. Even though Vicki announced on January 7, 2009, on her MySpace page that she was the “new official spokesperson for Duzoxin”, and, a May 12, 2009 “PR Release” from Sun Media Enterprises, Vicki doesn’t seem to currently “listed” with either a “page” or a testimonial on the Duzoxim site.

A brand new “blog” on Duzoxum’s site, yesterday Jeana posted a link to photos of her filming a Duzoxim commercial at the St. Regis, the site of the infamous first episode of season five catfight between Gretchen and Tamra. Jeana posted a video of Jeana and Vicki Gunvalson’s recent appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, and Jeana, Tamra, and Alexis Bellino appearing on the George Lopez Show.

The Lopez video, with Jeana, Tamra, and Alexis Bellino is well worth watching due to Tamra’s “potty-mouth”, and “Will you clean my table?” to Lopez which has some fans calling “racist!”
