She’s 32-yr-old Alexis Bellino, the newest Real Housewife of Orange County who’s married, a stay-at-home mom with two nannies, and looks great in a bikini. Even though she’s been featured in only two episodes she’s gotten quite a bit of online negative buzz and a not-so-nice expose in Star Magazine’s Star Exclusive! Here’s some of the “dirty” details that Star Magazine dug up in Alexis Bellino’s divorce files from Bellino’s marriage to “college sweetheart” Jeff Barry:
-Charges that Alexis cheated on Barry and that Alexis was a “mean, irrational drunk”.
-”Boozy brawls”,
-Jeff threatening Alexis, hacking into her personal email account, taking 10,000 from their savings account to buy stock in his name only.
According to Star, the couple, who dated three years, were married only 15-months before a divorce in 2004. The couple-who didn’t have a lot of money-moved to San Diego in 2002 where, Jeff alleged that Alexis began to hang out with trust fund “babies”.
-Jeff alleged Alexis began an affair with a man: a wealthy “older” married man with kids, whom she’d met at a gym.
-Jeff pretended to be a friend of Alexis and corresponded with her by email where his suspicions of Alexis straying from the marriage were “confirmed”.
-Jeff sent out an email to friends and family calling Alexis a “golddigger”, and, a “$2 whore”.
-The couple’s divorce was finalized in 2004.
Some of the “buzz” over the Star article, revolves around when Alexis “met” Jim, whether Jim was the “wealthy, married man”.

“I met my husband Jim at Palm Desert Springs Marriott six years ago on Memorial Day weekend.”
In Alexis’ defense, there’s always the fact that couples can, and do separate months or years before the divorce is finalized, so it’s quite possible Alexis met Jim during the separation period.
There’s also buzz over the fact that “Taliban” Jim is 15 years older than Alexis and may be a “control freak” who has “Alexis” Barbie “under his thumb”. Also, that Alexis is a “Stepford Wife”-based on just two Real Housewives episodes, and, the “bikini/lingerie conundrum”.
According to the “buzz”, it’s not just that Jim is “older”, but that Jim isn’t in as “good a shape”, or even “good looking”. That Alexis is a “trophy” wife whom Jim wants to show off on “his terms”. “Terms” which include Alexis not modeling lingerie at the private La Perla lingerie party, or being “away” from Jim “too long”. Even though Alexis wore a teeny-bikini while at Tamra’s home in front of Simon and another male guest, Jim put his foot down at La Perla and prohibited his wife from modeling sexy lingerie in front of Slade and Simon. Which I suppose, could be a matter of “sexual context” as Jim stated he preferred Alexis in lingerie that had far less fabric that a teeny-bikini.
Alexis and Jim’s lunch caused more buzz when Jim told Alexis to “quit talking so loud”, “why do you always do that?”, and something on the order of “you’re always trying to draw attention to yourself”. And, a remark about a “blond” moment.
In my opinion Alexis wasn’t “talking too loud” while Jim’s comment, that she was always “talking too loud” to “draw attention to herself” was rather illuminating and perplexing. It seemed as if Jim was “watching” Alexis “like a hawk”, ever wary of his wife’s “attempt to draw attention to herself”, even though his wife is: much younger, in fabulous shape, has the added “attraction” of a large set of fake boobs, dyed blond hair, and a giant diamond rock on her finger.
Alexis giving the waitress explicit directions on how to fix her drink has some calling her “vapid” and speculating that ordering her food and drinks a specific way may be her way of trying to “control her life”. Or, it could be the result of someone who, ever wary of gaining an extra pound, tries to ensure their limited intake of food and drink is worthy of all extra work of maintaining a great shape.
After the Star article, Alexis has, by some, been labeled a “golddigger” who ditched her younger, poorer husband for Jim and the 18 carat diamond ring, fancy home, and two nannies.
Another bone of contention: Alexis cutting up appetizers for Jim during a dinner date with Tamra and Simon. I found it rather amusing and perhaps a symptom of a stay-at-home mom used to cutting up food for her small kids. At least the two didn’t digress into speaking to each other in “baby talk”.
Ironically, Alexis tackled the subject of “controlling” husbands on her Bravo TV blog and gave “advise” on what do to if you’re in a relationship with a controlling husband-get therapy-and, whether Tamra’s husband Simon was a “control freak” during the dinner:

It did not surprise me that Jim took Tamra’s side during the dinner discussion, because I think Tamra was correct at that point too. Simon can’t always be ‘right’ and he does need to be open-minded and have open ears. However, there is always more to a relationship than one instance, or one evening, and I believe that when someone says, “Have I ever been wrong?” they are going to be confronted. When Simon said to Tamra, “Have I ever been wrong about you?” he only set himself up for controversy.
Alexis and Jim may be the ones “setting themselves for controversy” after Alexis stated that, in the couple’s lives, “God comes first, marriage second, then the kids”. Based on some of the “buzz”, some fans of the Real Housewives of Orange County found this statement highly “suspicious”, based on the way they perceived Jim has, so far, acted towards Alexis and the couple’s “situation”:
“The whole God thing I don’t buy at all and I hope they stop bringing God into their f$%ked up situation. Anyone who has to talk about God so much usually ends up being the least God like people. Stop talking about it and walk the walk, and that starts with respecting your wife.”

I saw Alexis and her husband in Beverly Hills a few weeks ago and I was amazed of how nice and appreciative they were to their fans…. She was so beautiful.

Alexis is just with Jim, for obvious reason, MONEY!!! And despite all her outward looks, she’s still very insecure inside, when she accused Gretchen’s friend flirting with him, seriously, JIM is SO UGLY!!!!!

WHY???? is that a BAAAAD THING? Some peole men AND female are attracted to money and some people are only with their spouse for their looks but no one gets in a tizzy for that
PERFECT example Melania and Donald Trump: she is attracted to a lifestyle he can provide her and HE is attracted to her beauty its a win win I married my husband because he is successful SUE ME because that is what i am attracted to and respect . Frankly for me that is more attractive than looks LOOKS fade intelligence is forever .

Alexis is nothing but a hypocrite. She is a vacuous woman who’s main goal is to look pretty. How dare she say she is a stay at home mom. SHe has 2 friggin’ nannies to take care of her kids. She doesn’t even take care of them. And that husband of hers! Pulease!!!!!! He’s older, not good looking, hmmm, why do i think she is with him? He has money so she can keep getting plastic surgery, botoz, boobs, etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s a bad thing because being with someone for their looks OR for their money is superficial. Loving the person for themselves, not for what they can do for you is what most people aspire to, because it’s most people’s instinct.
Good for you if you love your man for his money, but it’s strange that you fail to understand why people don’t approve. People do indeed get ‘in a tizzy’ with those that are simply with their partners for their looks.
The bottom line is that beauty fades and money can be lost and not regained, but to love and to be loved by someone for themselves is the ultimate goal for most people. It’s the most stable, long-lasting way to be together.
