Vampire Killer Sought by Aussie Authorities: Million Dollar Reward Offered
Australia Authorities Offer $1 Million Award for Capture of “Vampire Killer”
Authentic Antique Vampire Killing Kit Circa 1800
According to News.AU.com Australian authorities are set to offer a $1 million bounty for the alleged killer of self-proclaimed “200-yr-old vampire” Shane Chartres-Abbott.
Authorities allege Abbott’s death was plotted by former “butcher” and “bouncer” and man of “many disguises” Mark Adrian Perry after Abbott, a prostitute and self-proclaimed vampire, allegedly viciously attacked and raped Perry’s ex-girlfriend, a Thai sex-trade worker and occasional “lover” of Abbott. The attack occurred in 2002 with the victim suffering bite marks, a bruised neck and jaw, and a portion of her tongue-up to 5cm-bitten off. The victim claimed Abbott told her he was a 200-yr-old vampire who lived in the area of Melbourne two centuries before the city was built and that he had to drink blood in order to live. Abbott was shot dead the day he was due in court for the rape-assault case while authorities believe he was killed by two mob assassins.
Perry has been on the run for the past two years in Australia and Thailand and may have possibly changed his appearance. While Perry is believed to be a man of “many disguises” and has so far alluded the Aussie police, self-proclaimed vampire Shane Chartres-Abbott was shot dead during the daylight hours. According to vampire lore, vampires cannot survive in sunlight or “die” by gunshot.

So how does a authentic vampire killer kit get constructed around 1800, when Bram Stoker wrote “Dracula” in 1897?

FN,
Just guessing, but vampires and their legends pre-dated the 1800s.
FROM Vampire:
“Tales of supernatural beings consuming the blood or flesh of the living have been found in nearly every culture around the world for many centuries”
and
“Many of the myths surrounding vampires originated during the medieval period. ”
