Who are all of Obama’s many czars? And which ones are completely new to the presidency–in spite of protestations from the Obama administration that czars are an old idea?

THE NUMBERS:

* 13 of the czar positions already existed prior to Obama taking office.

* Eight of those czar positions have been confirmed by the Senate.

* Five haven’t been or won’t be confirmed.

* 17 czars have been created by the Obama administration.

* One of those will be/have been confirmed by the Senate.

* 16 of the New, Improved Obama Czars will not be confirmed by the Senate.

All of the preceding information is for a better informed electorate.

Because you can’t tell the czars without a scorecard.

NOTE: We noticed that the list did not include “Safe Schools Czar” Kevin Jennings, who had more than a bit of controversy swirling about him these last two weeks and has been keeping a very low profile.
