What’s a media creation to do?

Meghan McCain, the “hot commodity” in the MSM because she’s a “maverick” (read: a liberal Republican that bashes conservatives), has spoken–presumably with her new voice of the Republican party–about her twittered boobmania.

Meghan McCain has responded to the “slut” comments directed at her after she posted her picture in a tank top on her Twitter account. The former U.S. Presidential candidate’s daughter slams critics who called her names for exposing her cleavage.

The 24-year-old columnist addressed the issue on her The Daily Beast blog, saying the media has a problem with her body.

McCain finished her recent defense by stating that this”…will be the last time she’ll ever address the “non-scandal,” hoping other girls can learn from the episode before they post any kind of pictures online.”

We say “Bravo!”

McCain can say whatever she likes and can expose whatever part of her body she likes to as many people who care to see it.

Her celebrity buzz in the media was created because, like her father, her only appreciable talent is acting as a 2009 edition of Kevin Phillips: a liberal Republican whose schtick is attacking conservatives.

Was Meg McCain’s Twitterpic an argument that her most ample intellectual assets reside below her neck?

That she was clueless that her “followers” on Twitter wouldn’t pass up the chance to label her a “slut” might hint at clueless-ness on other issues–but you’ll never hear from the MSM Meg McCain pushers.

Now, we don’t know if MM is a slut.

But we do think that she demonstrated what her best intellectual gifts were on her Twitter feed.

And while ample, they don’t seem enough around which to build a new base of the Republican Party.
