One more thing, a tool is a tool, whether they’re Republicans or Democrats or Maoists.

IF they’re corrupt, they’re corrupt. We’re not talking the Dem basketball team or the Republican basketball team. The first election I voted in, I voted for 1 Republican and the rest Democrats. Then I got married, had kids and wised up that politicians were ruining any chance me or my kids had for a future. Most of those at the time were Dems. But there’s been plenty of shady, no-good goobers who were Republicans.

I worked in the preliminary stages of a campaign 8 years ago–the guy was a Democrat and a good one. My best friend was a state legislator whom I helped out a lot when he was running–he was a Democrat. That doesn’t mean there’s not a whole lot of dweebs, dorks and dishonest Dems masquerading as “statesmen”.

The Republicans have their share of political hacks. I’ve never worked on any Republican campaigns, but I might. But the person won’t be corrupt tool who earmarks millions to companies run by his ex-aides and family members and then gets the money back in campaign contributions and shady land deals.

Alan Mollohan deserves any attention I can bring to his questionable ethics practices. Hell, it was the Democrats who made him step down from his House Ethics Committee Chairmanship. How questionable do your ethics have to be when you’re too tainted for Nancy Pelosi?
