Sarah Palin’s recent Facebook comments on Obama healthcare reform being “evil” has gotten quite a bit of attention from liberals and the media while Obama’s Health Care Adviser, Dr. Ezekeil Emmanuel’s remarks on the proposed healthcare reform are being studiously ignored. Here’s what Palin had to say:

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin called President Barack Obama’s health plan “downright evil” on Friday in her first online comments since leaving office.

She said in a Facebook posting that he would create a “death panel” that would deny care to the neediest Americans.

“The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s ‘death panel’ so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their ‘level of productivity in society’, whether they are worthy of health care,” the former Republican vice-presidential candidate wrote.

“Such a system is downright evil,” Palin wrote on her page, which has nearly 700,000 supporters. She encouraged her supporters to be engaged in the debate.

Think what Palin said about Obama’s Healthcare reform is farfetched, or “crazy”? Here’s what Dr. Ezekeil Emanuel, Obama’s Health Adviser and brother of Obama’s Chief of Staff, Rohm Emanuel, had to say about cost saving in healthcare reform by way of “allocation” of healthcare based on age:

“Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination. Every person lives through different stages of life rather than being a single age. Even if a 25-year-old receives priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 now was previously 25.”

Here’s more from the New York Post’s DEADLY DOCTORS, O ADVISERS WANT TO RATION CARE:

“Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. “Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely ‘lipstick’ cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change,” he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).

Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, “as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others” (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).”

More on Dr. Emanuel:

“Dr. Emanuel is a special advisor to the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget for health policy. He told me he is “working on (the) health care reform effort.” He is “detailed” to the OMB spot and is still officially an employee of the NIH.”

“According to his NIH bio, Dr. Emanuel is “widely published on the ethics of clinical research, advance care directives, end-of-life issues, euthanasia, the ethics of managed care, and the physician-patient relationship…”

There’s also another Obama appointee, Obama’s Science Czar John Holdren, whose prior views on methods to curtail overpopulation have been ignored by the MSM. Views which include:

• Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
• The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;
• Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;
• People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
• A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.

Here’s a couple of quotes from Holdren’s book, Ecoscience:

“Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.”

“One way to carry out this disapproval might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption—especially those born to minors, who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone. If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it. Adoption proceedings probably should remain more difficult for single people than for married couples, in recognition of the relative difficulty of raising children alone. It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society.”

Here’s a snippet of what Zombietime wrote about Holdren’s “draconian” views:

“Impossible, you say? That must be an exaggeration or a hoax. No one in their right mind would say such things.

Well, I hate to break the news to you, but it is no hoax, no exaggeration. John Holdren really did say those things, and this report contains the proof. Below you will find photographs, scans, and transcriptions of pages in the book Ecoscience, co-authored in 1977 by John Holdren and his close colleagues Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich. The scans and photos are provided to supply conclusive evidence that the words attributed to Holdren are unaltered and accurately transcribed.”

Obama has established a pattern which began well before he was elected, of surrounding himself with characters who could easily be misconstrued as comic book creations with the likes of Reverend “God Damn America” Wright, former Weather Underground “Destroy America” terrorist Bill Ayers, and now, Dr. “Death” Emanuel and Science Czar “Overpopulation must be met with forced abortions, forced sterilizations, and a Planetary Regime” Holdren.

Emanuel and Holdren are Obama’s Health Adviser and Science Czar. Wright was Obama’s pastor for 20 years. Ayers chaired a board with Obama and held Obama’s first fundraiser for Illinois State Representative in Ayer’s living room.

Another pattern of Obama surrogates is labeling opponents and foes as “crazy”, “organized mobs”, and “lunatic fringe”. This attempt of marginalization and intimidation by ridicule is being furthered by some within the MSM. If you read the views of both Emanuel and Holdren, views such as, older citizens as well as babies and younger children should receive less heath care because they’re not age 25 and thus not “productive citizens”, or, the government should place sterilization drugs in drinking water to combat overpopulation within certain socioeconomic groups-then you may come to the conclusion that the label “lunatic fringe” has been misplaced. That is, unless, you agree with those views. And there’s quite a few who do.

These days these types of views are referred to as “social engineering”. In the old days, during the turn of last century and up to World War II, those types of views were part and parcel of the Progressive Party’s Eugenic Movement. One such member, patron saint of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger. From “Hillary Clinton’s Bizarre “Margaret Sanger’s Work is Not Done”:

eugenic educator.

“As an advocate of birth control I wish … to point out that the unbalance between the birth rate of the ‘unfit’ and the ‘fit,’ admittedly the greatest present menace to civilization, can never be rectified by the inauguration of a cradle competition between these two classes. In this matter, the example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feebleminded, the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken classes, should not be held up for emulation.

Think this comparison to Sanger’s view is a stretch? Here’s another excerpt from Obama Science Czar John Holdren, from his “textbook”, Ecoscience:

“A legal restriction on the right to have children could also be based on the right not to be disadvantaged by excessive numbers of children produced by others. Differing rates of reproduction among groups can give rise to serious social problems. For example, differential rates of reproduction between ethnic, racial, religious, or economic groups might result in increased competition for resources and political power and thereby undermine social order. If some individuals contribute to general social deterioration by overproducing children, and if the need is compelling, they can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility—just as they can be required to exercise responsibility in their resource-consumption patterns—providing they are not denied equal protection.”

Congress’ current healthcare reform legislation is H.R. 3200, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009. Within the bill is the requirement of establishing a “private-public advisory committee”:

This committee will recommend what will be “covered benefits” as well as “essential, enhanced, and premium plans”. In short, who gets what type of coverage, what type of coverage is essential for “whom”.

It will be an advisory board who will making the decisions on the types of health care coverage individuals will receive. Judging from the types of advisers Barack Obama has personally handpicked, it’d be crazy behavior to not take into consideration the personal views of the advisers before H.R. 3200 is signed into law by Obama.
