Gas Pump Fire Video: Why Cigarettes and Gas Pumps Are a Bad Mix

The guy in the above photo wasn’t as lucky as the people in the following video. Ernest Wade Osborne was attempting to change a gas filter when gas “sprayed” out and ignited by a camper next to the pump. Osborne died from his injuries.
The following video illustrates the reason why people shouldn’t smoke at gas stations nor joke about it just before it happens:
