Hitler and his Aryan “children”
Years ago I met an individual who was born in Germany in the early 1940s. He and his sister were removed from his family home and raised by the German State as young Aryans, the Reich’s super race. Blond, blue eyes, athletic and smart, they were among the thousands of kids forcibly removed from their homes to be bred into Hitler’s dream. After the war and when of legal age he moved to America and left his past behind. Interesting, but history, right? Maybe not quite. Today’s headline:

“A notorious Nazi doctor known as the ‘Angel of Death’ is behind an alarming number of twins born in a small Brazilian town, a historian has claimed.
Josef Mengele was an SS physician in Auschwitz concentration camp where, in a bid to create a master race for Adolf Hitler, he carried out genetic “experiments” to find the key to producing twins.
The aim was to artificially increase the Aryan birthrate. In 1945 he fled the advancing Red Army and made his way to South America. It was there that the medic, who is believed to have been responsible for up to 400,000 deaths in medical experiments at Auschwitz, may have succeeded in his mission.”

“The only firsthand evidence on these experiments comes from a handful of survivors and from a Jewish doctor, Miklos Nyiszli, who worked under Mengele as a pathologist. Mengele subjected his victims – twins and dwarfs aged two and above – to clinical examinations, blood tests, X rays, and anthropological measurements. In the case of the twins, he drew sketches of each twin, for comparison. He also injected his victims with various substances, dripping chemicals into their eyes (apparently in an attempt to change their color).
Dr. Mengele’s experiments on childrenHe then killed them himself by injecting chloroform into their hearts, so as to carry out comparative pathological examinations of their internal organs. Mengele’s purpose, according to Dr. Nyiszli, was to establish the genetic cause for the birth of twins, in order to facilitate the formulation of a program for doubling the birthrate of the ‘Aryan’ race. The experiments on twins affected 180 persons, adults and children.

An amazing statistic: A staggering one in five pregnancies in the Brazilian town have resulted in the birth of twins – the usual rate is one in 80. And they are still happening:
“The residents of the Brazilian town claim Mengele made repeated visits there in the early 1960s.
He first claimed to be a vet but then offered medical treatment to the women, providing them with strange potions and tablets and asking for blood samples.
After spending time in Argentina and Paraguay, in 1963 Mengele started making regular trips to the predominantly German farming community in Brazil.
Mr Camarasa claims it was soon after that the birthrate of twins began to spiral.”
Photo listed on the town’s website under ‘twins’ shows another gathering of the community’s offspring.
No word yet on the athletic prowess, smarts, etc., on the town’s population.

This is interesting, but it seems a bit thin on evidence. Yes, 1 in 5 births resulting in twins when the ‘normal’ number is about 1 in 80 does seem very unusual, but what is the possibility that this just could be a rare but natural occurance? Is there a possibility of some type of genetic testing on the twins to see if they are ‘natural’ twins or if there was some type of manipulation of their DNA that caused so many sets of twins?

Chi, i don’t think anyone really knows what is going on because the villagers don’t care other than they are happy. But looking carefully at the pics, I would say one third of the twins might be identical. And that would really be rare. Twins can be genetic and that is the most likely explanation. But who knows.

Wow. Fiction comes to life. Reminds me of a novel I read way back about how attempts to create the aryan super race continued after the fall of the third reich. Scary.

More possibly the result of twins marrying other twins, which results in a dramatically higher incidence of… ummm….twins!

though is kind of rare, I think this can be possible as natural selection (snoop said) twins marrying other twins, not by genetic manipulation… but the cause of this to happen.. (some body telling people who to be married with) is what I think mengele’s work… but who knows? To those people in the village my best wishes
