Water-Powered Car Video: GenePax Hydro Car Set for 2010
Water-Powered Car:
Japanese Co. GenePax Demonstrates Car
Production Hoped for 2010
No, it’s not a scam.
A Japanese company has unveiled it’s water-powered car. It’s not very large, but hey–what do you want from an auto that can be refilled from your tap?
According to the video, “A liter of water will power the car at 80 kil/hour for about an hour.”

Although the car emits no exhaust, how long will it be before the Green Weinies find that the GenePax auto is bad for the environment?

I can just see it now, the Eco Nazis will be complaining that we are using more than our fair share of water. Also, we’ll hear stories about the dwindling water supply.

Seriously, at the rate human produce technological advances, it won’t be long before we won’t rely on gasoline at all to fuel our cars.
Why is everyone so paranoid about it?
I’m sure the greenies WILL find something wrong this car…I mean…it probably wastes water that could be used to keep a poor defenseless gold fish alive or something.
We should probably feel ashamed for not doing more for the gold fish of the world.

I first read about this issue in June 2008. These guys sent shockwaves on the Internet. After getting excited with their piece of innovation, I went on to write two posts on my blog about them. Genepax promised that they were going to make a press conference in Tokyo. I exchanged emails with one of the media people. But up to now, they haven’t showed up in Tokyo. I have been checking Genepax’s site regularly for updates. There has been no recent update such that I have started thinking that maybe the whole thing is just a scam.

T the D says, “I’m sure the greenies WILL find something wrong this car…” Well, T, it’s not the greenies that are out to get you. It’s those damn pesky laws of physics and all that. Seriously, does your brain really only go as deep as, “Wow, a car that runs on water! What a great idea!”? Apparently so.
RING RING RING! Genepax was an investor scam and everybody who ever took a high school physics class knew it all along.
After Genepax came to the inevitable can’t-hide-the-bull-shit-any-longer moment they put the following message on their web site: “…we have yet to overcome the many obstacles we face in the current world, to bring our systems to market.” Surface-brainers like yourself take probably take this to mean something like, “Our society just isn’t enlightened enough to break the bonds of conventional wisdom…blah blah blah… rainbow ponies… blah blah… free love… blah blah blah… quantum physics free energy blah blah blah…”
Holy fucking hippie bongwater! Dust off your Birkenstocks , T, and go take a walk in universe we all live in. There’s this thing called energy and you don’t find it in water, unless the water is falling down a hydro dam. Go out now! Find every teacher you ever had and kick them in the balls. They did not do you any favors.
