Beer Keg with Open Spigot in Passenger Seat Nabs Man DUI
A Clayton, Ohio, man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of a keg of beer.
The man was nabbed after an officer spotted his vehicle “running” in the roadway with a keg of beer in the passenger seat.
While having a keg of beer in the passenger seat isn’t illegal, having expired registration, with booze on your breath, an open spigot dripping beer on your console, and failing a sobriety test is.
A standard size beer keg holds 15.5 gallons of beer. An empty keg weighs 29.7 pds, while a keg full of beer weighs 160.5 pds.
