Obama and Murtha: Candidate Quotes on Pennsylvania and Ohio Voters
In the final days of the election it’s interesting to read what candidates have said regarding voters in key battleground states such as Pennsylvania and Ohio. DBKP has taken a trip down memory quote lane for what Barack Obama and Congressman John Murtha have said, versus what they’ve “promised” to voters.
“You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” Obama said. “And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
–Barack Obama, San Francisco fundraiser, April 6, 2008
Congressman John Murtha was not only quoted calling western Pennsylvanians “racist” but was also filmed saying it:
Murtha “backtracked” calling his constituents “racists” instead referring to them as “rednecks”:
“What I said, that indicted everybody, that’s not what I meant at all. What I mean is there’s still folks that have a problem voting for someone because they are black,” Murtha said.
Murtha said the history of southwestern Pennsylvania is teeming with racism. “This whole area, years ago, was really redneck,” he told WTAE-TV Pittsburgh.”

Anyway, I felt it was about time I posted, I’ve spent most of my time here just lurking and reading, but today for some reason I just felt compelled to say this.

One thing made obvious by the Obama Illegal Alien Scandal is that he has not been properly vetted.
What’s his excuse? I don’t know my Muslim Illegal Alien relatives? Are you kidding me?
