The reality is that Ayers is free in this country to write and say what he want, yet his activities stop a very long time ago. People may remain angry but they can mature and develop new ideas and thinking. Look At Tom Hayden. Communist are not marching up into America unless we allow them and this is yet to happen no matter how you try and scare us. The ties to Ayers father and brother were more the force that propelled Obama forward in the Chicago political scene as I have read and understood it.

I ask you again, why fuel the fear, what positive do you offer. What is our choice if not Obama, because as much as you don’t like it looks like it’s going to be Obama / Biden. Then what, do we work together to build a stronger union, or do we continue the divisive behavior of McCain failing campaign? This isn’t about Obama or McCain, this is about what and how American’s see themselves going forward and how we as a nation will create a stronger and more perfect union of states and citizens. I am not a bigot but after reading your blog I can’t help wondering if we wouldn’t all have been better off if the Confederates would have won the Civil War . Your ignorance, as is so many Obama supporters is deplorable. Indeed, I don’t think even half of you understand what he stands for. I do give you credit for having heard of Ayers as I am sure less than half of his prospective voters even know who Ayers is and that he stepped on my flag, obviously not yours. Nor do they know that his minister preaches that ” God should Damn America”.
Even Obama thought that was OK until a couple of months ago after the Democrats informed him that this was a little much ( even though he was a Harvard graduate with no papers to prove it and that he was also 51 years old and again with no papers to prove it). He can’t even present evidence that he was born in America and eligible to be elected president. Every time he has been asked questions about his friends, background, etc. he deflects the question by saying nobody cares about that stuff. Sorry, but I do.

You are correct about one point though, “this isn’t about Obama vs McCain”. This is about capitalism versus socialism or even worst. I do not agree however that we should work together rather than continuing the divisive behavior of Obama. I have never been so frightened about the future of America. I don’t think the average American would agree that Iran is a tiny inconsequential country and socialism has never worked anywhere and never will. Even the old Soviet Union has figured that out. I won’t be looking forward to my next welfare check as you are and I will not work underground to improve our society but rather above ground, straight forward and without lies.
