It was a a movie weekend that Paris Hilton could love.
Beverly Hills Chihuahua finished in the top spot with $29.3 million in gross ticket sales. Eagle Eye ($17.7M) and Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist (11.3) finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The weekend was Hollywood’s busiest opening weekend in years.
There are seven movies opening in wide-release this weekend. Let that sink in for a minute. Seven films! That’s the most crowded opening weekend in years.
