Sarah Palin and Liberal Elitist Women: Classless and Clueless

Note to liberal elitist women journalists: darling, please don’t claim to speak for me, a woman, about Sarah Palin. For the second time today I’ve read the most idiotic condescending claptrap about Sarah Palin from a liberal elitist woman who claims she “speaks” for all women. Those women should be ashamed but then again they shed shame like a snake sheds its skin.
First it was Jessica Reaves of the Chicago Tribune who wrote that “McCain’s choice won’t fool women” followed by the New York Times’ Judith Warner’s nasty piece of work, “The Mirrored Ceiling”. Here’s a line from Warner’s diatribe over Palin:
“A woman’s preaching is like a dog’s walking on his hinder legs,” the wit once observed. “It is not done well; but you are surprized to find it done at all.”
Palin sounded, at times, like she was speaking a foreign language as she gave voice to the beautifully crafted words that had been prepared for her on Wednesday night.
But that wasn’t held against her. Thanks to the level of general esteem that greeted her ascent to the podium, it seems we’ve all got to celebrate the fact that America’s Hottest Governor (Princess of the Fur Rendezvous 1983, Miss Wasilla 1984) could speak at all.Could there be a more thoroughgoing humiliation for America’s women?
Could there be a more silly line from an intellectual? Why yes, there is, read the rest of Warner’s piece.
From Reaves, Warner’s sob sister, at the Chicago Tribune:
Sarah Palin is a woman. Hillary Clinton is a woman. Women just love voting for other women. Women candidates are interchangeable. Therefore, women who would have voted for Clinton are obviously going to vote for Palin.
If this syllogism strikes you as stupid, that’s because it is. Not to mention cynical and not a little bit sexist. Yet it also appears to be one of the reasons behind John McCain’s choice of a running mate.
Interestingly Reaves bases her assertions on a faulty premise but then again this is nothing new in liberal elitist land.
Denigration while being disingenous is the name of game with Warner and Reaves. While denigrating Palin in the name of politics, the two are being disingenuous, they’d never vote for a Republican unless it was behind the safety of closed curtain where no one could see them pull the lever. You’d be surprised how many liberals have intimated to me that they’ve voted for the “enemy”. I seem to illicit these types of “confessions” from liberals.
Liberal elitist women also seem to believe that they can speak for me, a woman, that is unless I happen to be their percieved enemy, the conservative woman. Then all bets are off, the claws come out, as in the case of the nomination of Sarah Palin for McCain’s Vice President on the Republican ticket.
These two Liberal elitist girls haven’t changed but their spite is now aimed at a new enemy. The old nemesis were “white men”, the new enemy, the Sarah Palins of the world, confidant, successful conservative women. Reaves and Warner’s missives come across as classless, as in manners, and clueless, the newest evil Stepsisters, shoveling spite while sharpening their claws, calling all women to arms over misdirected anger. You see, it wasn’t McCain who slighted the twin twits, it was someone else much closer to home.
Listen up Liberal elitist girls, your mother should have perhaps spanked you after all. Or it must have been your potty training or lack of, because you’re trashing another woman because she doesn’t share your ideology. You can’t hack it that Palin is a woman, and a conservative woman to boot, who is following her dreams and who shows that yes, a woman can have it all, a family and a career.
Behind your thin veneer of sneer is misdirected anger. It’s your candidate Obama that you’re truly angry with, not McCain, nor Sarah Palin. It must have been terribly disappointing when Obama slighted you when he appointed yet another white male as his VP, Joe Biden, instead of your darling, Hillary Clinton. Instead of venting at Obama you chose to unload your frustrations on the nearest targets, McCain, Palin, and the Republicans.
What must have pushed you over the edge was when you asked your gilded mirror who was the most “intelligent” girl in the world:
Mirror, mirror, on the wall
Who’s the most intelligent woman of them all?
Sarah Palin, bitch.

Here’s something that fits into what you’re saying: “Palin supporters ‘brainwashed,’ feminist Democrat says.”

LBG1, while I respect your rant, er, opinion, I can say with all the sincerity I can muster, that as a woman, you don’t speak for me either.
I don’t like Sarah Palin as a candidate. I don’t like what she stands for. I don’t care for her ideology. I don’t agree with her on the issues I find important. I didn’t give a finger licken if Obama picked Hilary.
I dont like Sarah Palin much as a woman, either, but she’s not running BECAUSE she’s a woman, right? I mean, McCain picked her because out of all the other women and men in the GOP, SHE AND SHE ALONE is supremely and uniquely qualified to be his running mate.
And do you honestly believe that if Obama had picked Hillary–or any other woman–that McCain would have still picked Sarah Palin?
And don’t you think that if Obama had chosen another woman, besides Hillary, that he would be excoriated by the MSM and pundits? Hell, I would too!
So please, spare me your faux outrage. It’s very unbecoming.

LOL & BRAVO! PJ, well said; well said!
LBG, not only are you as clueless as Palin but you just got served!

After her embarassing interview, one wishes that Palin would just fade away.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Thank you for pointing out the obvious truths. Sarah is brilliant and the attacks on her are vicious and uncalled for. The so called elites do nothing but bring about shame to their ilk , first by labeling themselves “elites” and secondly slandering such a remarkable woman. A woman you detest because she’s intelligent, beautiful and classy.
Her refutes against the most vicious, Mallick, Berhardt, Behar and Noonin, were that of a very critical thinker. A controlled, thoughtful reply. Unlike those hags”…and I must take a look at those women (physically and mentally), I can see why their attacks are filled with venom. They could only wish they possessed the same qualities; charisma, goodwill and connection with the American people. Her overnight sensation with the public deeply disturbs the bitches. Ideology is their excuse, but it goes much deeper than that. Palin is their nemesis for the most shallow of reasons. How ironic, deeper and shallow, but there you have it, Women are complex, but as a woman, it’s quite easy to deduce the obvious.
To jealousy, nothing is more frightful than laughter and Sarah has smiled eloquently in the faces of her foes.
