Sometimes, the only thing that will help is a: Roadtrip!

So, we’re off on one as soon as this is posted!

It’s a very mixed bag today:

1 – A trip to the Ohio River city of Wheeling, WV to take in a Classic Hydroplane Regatta. We’ll be taking pictures and talking to some of the boat racers while there.

2 – Onward east, along Interstate 70 to Washington, PA and a rally for John McCain and new VP pick, Sarah Palin. Plenty of pix and some quotes from those in attendance.

3 – Finally, back I-70 to Wheeling Island Casino and Racetrack, where the WV Finals of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Contest will be held. We’ll hopefully have enough room to take some more pictures.

We may gamble and even drink alcohol while there–all in the interests of research.

We’ll be updating DBKP from on the road later this evening and posting what we’ve seen.
