Hillary Clinton thinks had the press reported the John Edwards matter earlier she would have carried Iowa, making her the Democratic nominee. Hillary may also think that had the press failed to report the Monica mess, that that might have helped her chances as well. Adulteries in Washington, DC? Karl Rove is hot in this berg. Even Monica was hot enough. Lisa Jo Druck, a.k.a. Rielle Hunter; how hot is that? These people could all use more fiber in their diet. Castor oil might help to relieve the cramping and bloating associated with the chronic constipation of life in Washington. I think Jane Lyn Stahl must’ve spent the last month reading the New York Times, as she shouts accusations of top secret covert manipulations without ever once mentioning the name Fred Baron.

I also think hardline Democrats like Jane Lyn Stahl haven’t quite yet realized the disgust that moderate Democrats feel for John Edwards.

Even Democrats who read the NYT, a paper that failed to endorse a single non-Democrat in the last congressional election.
