This message is coming from a former Edwards supporter, if you guys over here at dbkp can believe that! (I actually first posted this info over at deceiver.com, which has done an excellent job of covering this news, and is responsible for alerting the blogosphere that yesterday Rielle’s website, beingisfree.org, was removed from the Egyptian mirror site of archive.org, by someone at 1:45pm Sunday, 8/3/08):

Found this youtube footage of John giving his acceptance speech at the â€œFather of the Yearâ€ award luncheon that took place on 6/7/07. This footage was placed onto youtube by the Edwards campaign and places the title â€œwww.JohnEdwards.comâ€ before and after the actual video. I noticed that John remarks at the 5:27 mark that â€œâ€¦your children learn not only from what you say but from what you doâ€. Unfortunately what John (allegedly) was â€œdoingâ€ at some point around, give or take a week or two if Rielleâ€™s child was in fact born a full term baby, did not involve much concern for his children or, quite frankly, his supporters (which included myself at that time).

If you talk to The Enquirer again, ask them if they have info on WHEN Rielle Hunter left NC for California. I just find it really odd she left her OBGYN and had her baby in CA. That just smacks of getting her the heck out of Dodge. Someone got fed up. Or maybe she became “known”. or Maybe she was talking. or maybe Andrew Young was getting fed up. Or Andrew Young’s wife. I still don’t get that. Letting your husband say he is the father. Apparently, she isn’t going along with it anymore. Also, I read a one line blurb in the comments section of John in Carolina blog that alluded to the notion John Edwards was known for previous “friendliness” with ladies. Maybe the Enquirer could track down a former fling! Okay – Thanks for your blogging on this. Keep it up. He was almost the VP or the Atty General at the very least. Did you watch the webisode where he visits the Daily Show? It was so narcisitic ” All the blogs are talking about me announcing tonight” Har har, yuck yuck. So self absorbed. Just what the country doesn’t need right now…

Stranahan has been banned from DKos now. Those people are alternating between denial (it didn’t happen) or disinterest (it’s a private matter…because he’s not a Republican). See http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8/1/133332/9399

At the end of the diary, there are some comments confirming that the so-called “missing videos” that now appear on Youtube were posted on Kos some time ago, back in Dec 2006. Confirmation that they’re the real deal…and that Rielle Hunter is both a nut and a slut if you’ve seen them…and that she travelled extensively with Chucky, including to Uganda, without his wife.

Enquirer Editor is being very close-lipped about the Enquirer’s schedule for releasing further information. As he said, “We reported the [July update of the] story in great detail for a reason–so any reporter willing to do a little work could confirm it.”

He later told us that he’s on his own schedule–not the MSM who ignored it all these months while the Enquirer kept tracking down Hunter (and others) who had disappeared.

It’s just a guess, but I’d say that this week, the Enquirer will release the name of the backer who’s being used to funnel hush money to Rielle Hunter. DBKP (and a few others, including Doug Ross) have posited that, based on a few clues provided by Enquirer stories, that this may well be ex-NBA player and UNC alum, Eric Montross.

What else?

The Enquirer had seven people working the story for nearly a year. I would imagine that there’s lots of details to choose from. And plenty of time to do it–large segments of the country that depend on the MSM for their news are still in the dark about this story.

The MSM is concerned about Elizabeth Edwards? LOL. Like the were concerned for Laura when they called the Bush girls drunks, which they were not, but never reported that Chelsea was in fact a drunk because of poor Hillary’s feeling? Yeah. How thoughtful.
