Great! Our country IS in distress after all, suffering from multiple crippling wars overseas and an economy on the brink of destruction, I couldn't really think of a better time to fly that flag upside down. But, I think we all need to take a good look at the underlying message here. Flags themselves are designed to separate people. Countries are simply made up of imaginary lines drawn in the earth thousands of years ago by people whose names and ideologies have long since been forgotten. We need to wake up and realize that the earth is but one country and mankind its citizens. We fight over symbols that literally have no purpose other than turning people against each other. This country doesn't even belong to us anyways! We stole it from the native american people long ago and slaughtered their women and children, WE are the immigrants!! Please, wake up, come together, peace 'n love.
