This is a misleading post. I come from a missionary family, and have worked and lived in the middle east for a long time. Never did I receive any form of discrimination for my religion, and I think few Muslims in the western world can say the same.

Most Christians nominations are hostile to each other, and even more hostile towards Muslims, who we consider unbelievers. The idea that Muslims see us the same is portrayed widely in western media, but in the streets Muslims call Jesus the prophet of peace. They also see themselves fighting the anti-Christ along with Christians, in their end time scenario.

Now I’m in Asia, where my missionary peers act friendly in public, and then gloat on how Buddhism is the enemy when no one is around. The royal Thai intelligence has contacted me once for a loose interrogation since they read the bible, and its so hard for the locals to imagine we are really following this Jesus dude. I’m not sure your post represents Jesus either.

The basic logic applied here is that we should use death penalty against Americans in Europe, because they use it at home. i don’t see what is the point of loosing a higher morality just because others do not follow it. Unless one wants to be as uncivilized oneself.

Hi Kupret. It would help if you declared whether you are attending that mosque or that church or that budhist temple. You see, I suspect it’s that mosque in your case, and therefore it doesn’t surprise me that “it’s not a problem” to you.

Hannibal before the gate. LOL. I am afraid Muslims have infiltrated the FBI, the CIA, The White House, and The State Department, Academia, and NYC. As for the MSM, they seem infatuated with the righteousness of Islam. In fact I am surprised Katie Couric does not do a live clitoralectomy on one of her daughters on live TV. She surely seems comfortable when it all happens to those ‘brown’ people overseas.

Hi Pat, when you use fox news and jihadwatch, it tends to make your article a lot less credible or accurate . There are tons of churches in Indonesia (I’m from Indonesia). It makes sense that the number would be lower than that of mosques since the population is mostly Muslims. BUT, this picture you painted of Christians being under oppression in Indonesia couldn’t be farther from the truth. My cousins are Christians (whereas my family is Muslims), and when one of them got married we went to their church to join in the procession (there are other Muslim relatives as well). Indonesia is all about religious equalities.

There are churches in Malaysia, Singapore, Iraq, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, all of which can be considered “Muslim countries”

so funny, even we have a mosque beside a church here in Indonesia….it’s not a problem… also we have a biggest budhism temple in south east asian… for your info Indonesia is no a moslem country, we have 5 religions here, moslem, christian (protestant & catholic), hindusm, budhism
